Can you list the "hidden" fees. The fees like delivery and set up fees, so that people like me (not contracted but planning) can set up a more accurate budget. Thank you in advance.

Cake handling fee: varies (mine was $145 + tax)

Delivery fee for floral: varies (we didn't have one)

Setup fee: $35/hour (for more than 3 items per table at reception)

Move fee: varies (for moving floral arrangements from ceremony to reception)

Outdoor set-up fee: $75 (for putting tables/chairs at DP location)

Those are the ones I know about! :thumbsup2

Do the hidden fees get added in as part of the minimum, or do you have to spend the minimum first and then have the hidden fees added?

Also I assume the 20% gratuity has to be on top of the minimum right?

Fees, tax and 20% gratuity are in addition to the minimums - they don't count toward it.

I'm also trying to set up a more accurate budget. These message boards are FANTASTIC and have helped me immensely in getting ideas and bringing up different options that I would've never thought of!

What will the 20% be applied to or potentially be applied to?

Thanks!!

The service charge is applied to any food and beverage, as well as to any AV services (like if you have an iPod setup at the reception, even if you don't pay a tech to run it). However, while you will be charged tax on the service charge for food and beverage, there is no tax on the AV service charges (that's right - you pay tax on the food/bev itself and then on the service charge for that food/bev  ).

There may be other things that get a service fee that I don't know about cuz I didn't use them, but I know that transportation and event guides and Disney photography (or at least the MK photo shoot) don't get service charges.

I love to help out with this stuff because I never would have been able to have a Disney wedding without being able to mock up a budget using info from these boards :thumbsup2
