?? For the POTC fans

Can anyone out there tell me if there is a peg-legged pirate in the POTC attraction?? A friend called me and asked. I have ridden this MANY MANY times and never noticed one, but maybe someone out in the DIS knows the answer..

Hmmm, not that I can recall......but I haven't been on it since July so maybe someone closer has gone recently?

I couldn't remember either so I looked in my POTC book that seems to be from the early 70's. None of the pictures in it show a peg leg pirate.

well according to my 10 year old son, davy jones has a wooden leg, and he is now part of the attraction (although you don't see his legs).

so technically, yes....and visually, no? LOL.

actually, i thought i could remember a peg-legged character in there too, but maybe i am mistaken.

I was thinking I remembered one too, but couldn't find it in the book, so thought I was imagining things.

I do not recall seeing that type of pirate either. For me, Davy Jones, does not count, because you only see his facial and his chest, the way I am remembering him. Not to mention, he is a movie add in. ( Do not even get me started about those, regardless of how much I like the POTC films )

I went to DL today and got on POTC. And I did see the peg-legged pirate. He is in the scene where the pirates are dumping carlos in the well. The pirate is the last one to the left , right before you see Capt. Sparrow for the first time. Next time I go I will take a pic if I dont forget my camera.

Ooops, how many ways can I say my previous post, regarding not recalling a peg legged, pirate, being really embarrasing. I guess I need to be more observant, even though, I had always thought I was being such, when visiting my most favorite pirates! Which I have made these visits many a times, between from being a child, to my last several trips as an adult. (Oh how this is so embarrasing, I am never going to live this down! )

Although they have done their best to clean up POTC, if they missed the naked lady hanging over the bar, they may have missed well-endowed people as well.
