Seriously guys, I have done everything I can think of to get a pin or code.

I have put saved offers on my account and deleted them.
I have called to see if there is one on my account several times now.
I have registered an account in my husband's name and put offers on there.
I have been to Disney 4 times and booked in my name (never even offered a bounceback on these).

What does a girl have to do to get a pin? I'm starting to feel like a Disney Outcast.

I am in the same boat. I have done all that too but of course there is no guarantee that any of that triggers a code. Of course we can hope. I'd love to go deluxe this summer but without a code it's POR for us.

I'm right there with you! I've tried everything as well, including an account for my husband. NOTHING! Ugh! I'm starting to freak out a little. We are going in October, so I have sometime, but as you all know, if I go at rack rates, I have to cut back on everything else. I had so many things I wanted to plan for that we have yet to do, but without a discount, it's going to be really tight!

My oldest son will be almost 11 when we go, second son will be 8 and my youngest(my daughter) will be 5. She still loves princesses, but this will be our last trip to Disney for a while and I want her to experience as much as she can, while she still believes in the magic. Hoping some pixie dust comes my way-and yours!pixiedust:
 

Me too! I have tried all of these things too and still no code. :sad2: I guess I'll just keep hoping for some pixie dust with the rest of you!
 
LOVE your thread title! I feel the same way--the waiting is killing me! We've been lucky enought to get the FD code on every trip & I hope this year will be the same!!!

I didn't mean to start a pity party, but when people on here say that they are getting five pins a year and bouncebacks all the time, I can't help but feel jealous.

Here's to hoping for free dining announcement in August if no pins come my way.

If it makes you feel any better, I'm one of those people who used to get five pin codes a year and bouncebacks every time we went. But not this year (or last year either)!! :goodvibes

I love your title though and an Amen to that!! :rotfl: I've tried every trick in the book and nothing. Our neighbors are coming with us this year and we've already started working on Plan B if nothing comes through before our 45 day mark. :rolleyes:

Never had a PIN in the almost 5 years we've been going to WDW (3 trips).


Lucky enough to use general free dining code on last 2 trips, but the dates this year (October 7-12) are not likely to be in FD window. Boo!


Really want to stay in AKL, so I need some kind of discount to keep in budget.

We've been going to DW on a regular basis for 22 years. June will be my 19th visit, I've been doing all the things to up my chances and I've NEVER received a PIN code. I think it's about time!!! :) I'll keep hoping.....
 
I'm glad to see I'm not the only one a tad bit jealous of all the pin offers!! I have only every received one and it was for 10% value resort . Fingers crossed Disney has a FD offer before we go in May!!!
 
I could have written this post. I even requested info from DVC. As of right now, we're staying off site because I refuse to pay the price Disney is asking for onsite.
 
I used to get pin codes all the time, then they just stopped. I haven't personally gotten one in my name in about 2 years. Luckily my DH got one last year, which we used, but this year...NOTHING! I signed him up to get a planning DVD, I save offers all the time, I don't know what else to do to get them to start coming again! :scared1:

Maybe I shouldn't have used the words pity party, but I feel the same way. I've tried everything they recommend for getting a pin. I've saved vacations and have 3 or 4 sets of maps. The only thing I haven't done is order the 2012 DVD. Mainly because I've heard it's just like the 2011 one, which I didn't like anyway.
 
IDK what decides who gets pins and who doesn't. All I can say is that after we cancelled our 2011 Sept trip, the pins started rolling in. Before that I had done everything I could to get a pin. But I received none. Not until I cancelled, lol.

As an AP holder I go to WDW several times a year. I've done everything everyone suggests to generate a PIN Code (save trips on the WDW site, do all the surveys, order the planning DVDs, order the maps a couple of times a year, have my email registered on all their sites, call to see if I have a PIN on my account, etc). Still nada! I've never received a PIN Code.:mad::rolleyes1:sad1: Unlike the OP, I have used the bounceback deals alot. In fact, I curently have three bounceback deals booked for 2012 that I booked when I was there this past Nov/Dec, (May 5th-12th, Sept 1st-8th, and Oct 27th-Nov 3rd). I also have a reservation for Feb 4th-11th that I used an AP discount to book. It's not that I can't find a discount, but dad blast it, I want a PIN Code. I have an AP and go several times a year and it seems like Disney would reward me with at least one lousy PIN Code.:rotfl: I also have an AP for Universal, but have only stayed onsite over there one time. They sent me a PIN Code this year.:mad:

I had to call to activate my Disney Chase today and I am hoping they took notice of me saying "I'm going in August" and are like, "SEND HIM PINS!!! GO GO GO GO!!!!"

Sadly I have to join this group. I have tried EVERYTHING and no pins for me. I can't figure it out, I'm on the site a lot, have the visa ordered the DVD plan a trip every year and NEVER a single pin. My friend gets them all of the time and we can't figure out why I don't. No rhyme or reason :headache:.
