I am an orthodox Jew and yes, I have a problem.
I love disney!
Ok now that's off my chest, there's something I don't love, Disney dining options for Kosher keepers. CS are these disgusting packaged meals that resemble airline meals. Don't get me wrong, it's nice that they provide such a service, however they are quite vile.
I just wish that we could have a kiosk of some sort that would provide fresh meals. Burgers, hot dogs, chicken w/e it was just something fresh.

It really makes my family and I think twice about going to Disney.
I have to rent a car to be able to go get kosher food.

PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE allow me to eat well on disney property.
My dream vacations turn into nightmares when the kiddies are hungry

ANY advice will be welcomed.
And NO converting is NOT an option

I'm not too familiar with kosher rules, but perhaps the table service restaurants are more accommodating?

Kosher is a lot more difficult and time consuming to accommodate than a simple food allergy, so I can't say I blame Disney for not offering more options. The cost of installing Kosher kitchens and equipment, buying kosher ingredients, hiring more staff and having to cook the food is simply too expensive for the return Disney would get from the small percentage of guests that visit who keep Kosher.

I don't know how strict you are, but I think the best thing you can do is rent a place with a full kitchen and try to cook your own breakfasts and dinners. Then you only have to deal with the icky packaged stuff once a day for lunch.

I do understand how gross that stuff is - I'm Jewish and went on a Birthright Trip. The tour provided us with only kosher food and kosher airline food is even worse than regular airline food - who knew it was possible! :upsidedow :rotfl:

not all CS places are owned by Disney (re: el Pirato, etc. etc, whatever that place's name was:rotfl:).

my point? this would be a great business venture for someone! open your own kosher CS restaurant on disney property!!
you could subcontract with Hebrew National for hot dogs (since the hot dogs at Casey's have gone downhill) and everyone knows Hebrew national are some of the top hot dogs (next to nathan's).

ok, whoever, takes me up on this idea, owes me a percentage...

ps. maybe Israel could be another country in WS?
