Ladies, do you wear sunscreen under your makeup? Or, just a moisturizer with a good spf? That's what I do but I feel like I need more protection. What are your tips for a long day in the sun?? Thanks.

I almost never wear makeup at the parks. I just use aveeno for my face and then a high spf (rotten irish skin here) I also like to wear a visor (NY Giants), caps look stupid on me. I can honestly say I only had sunburn once while at Disney and that was in 1988 on my honeymoon.

I use a moisturizer with SPF, but more importantly, CHAPSTICK with spf! In my world, sunburn on my lips is way more irritating than my cheeks!

I rarely wear makeup if I know that I am going to be spending an entire day out in the hot sun. I also won't put on plain sunscreen on my face as it makes me break out and tends to block my pores in a hot/sweaty environment. However I do use my regular moisturizer in the morning which containes an SPF.

I just use a moisturizer with spf. I never put sunscreen on my face and very rarely burn there either.

Yes, I do wear sunscreen under my makeup. I use a primer/concealer product with SPF before applying makeup.

I wear sunblock under my makeup when I'll be out and about all day. I like Neutrogena dry touch, it's one of the few that don't feel sticky.

I wear Philosophy tinted 15 SPF moisturizer...it is called Super Natural, tinted lip balm and mascara...cannot leave the house without those 3 things on my face!

I always wear a moisturizer with spf and my bare minerals also has a spf! Never apply a regular sunscreen to your face! Nutragena makes a good face only sunscreen!:)

I use face-formulated sunscreen that's at least SPF 30, and when I do wear makeup to the parks (when it's not 95 degrees and 90% humidity), it has SPF in it too. Plus a hat/visor. Neutrogena is my favorite sunscreen and one of the few that doesn't make me break out!

I wear sunscreen, primer than Bare minerals makeup and mineral veil.It stays and doesn't sweat off.I also wear spf on my lips

I put on a sunscreen and then my makeup maybe 20 minutes later after the sunscreen absorbs. I also make sure that the stuff I put on my lips has an SPF in it. ULTA makes a great tinted moisturizer SPF lip stick product.

I don't really burn, I'm pale, so people think I must :) The only places I really do are my forehead, shoulders, and tops of my feet if I leave them totally exposed all day long.

I wear my reg moisturizer with sunscreen in it...plus just a powder base makup with sunscreen too. I do not wear mascara or anything else like that...since Spalsh Mountain and Kali River Rapids are bound to ALWAYS get me soaked no matter wear I sit!!

Ironically the only sunburn I have ever gotten in the parks was in 2007 when my DD was 2 years old and on the evening of day 2 I noticed little sunblisters on my forearms!!! DD was going through a phase when she only wanted me to push her in the stroller, and yes she would frequently turn her head around and check!, and I had gotten burnt without even realizing it until my shower that evening!! SO my forearms got coated with sunscreen several times a day after that!!

I use Clinique City Block. It is a sunscreen made to use under make-up, and it also prevents your make up from sweating off. When I put it on, I almost always still have make-up on at the end of the day, which is extremely unusual for me. I'm fair skinned and burn easily, and I have not burned with it.

This is me too- though I just dust a little powder on top and I don't mess with the rest of the make up! It's really lightweight and feels good- nothing oily, or yucky.:thumbsup2

I like a sunscreen that is not very oily-the oily ones make me feel all greasy all day. Also, I just started using a new make-up line that's made of all minerals, which will be great for vacation because the foundation doesn't feel caked on!

I wear a 58 SPF facial sunscreen mixed with a lightweight moisturizer every day. I really get hot if I wear a hat and I don't look good in them, so I use a high factored sunscreen instead.

My daily face lotion has an SPF of 30... so I just use that and then put my makeup on top. Works perfectly!

Add me to the list of people that wear an SPF of 30 just for faces and a powder base. I use Mary Kay's mineral base mixed with a powder by Clinique that has a bit of shine to it. Then I add waterproof mascara and a tinted lip gloss that contains an SPF.

I don't wear make-up when it is sunny. I burn very easily, so I put sunscreen every two hours on my face. I think all I would wear is some lip gloss.
