Last week, DW & I left Erie to go to Bowling Green Kentucky to participate in the festivities observing the 50th Anniversary of the Corvette .
I broke down in Grayson Kentucky...the 1st time I have had trouble with my 1974 Corvette. Looks like she threw a bearing.
We were stranded there for 24 hours ..until my friend, Jimmy, (he owns a car hauling business)...brought one of his semi's down and brought us all home.
I was highly disappointed with AAA. I was transferred 4 times with 5 to 10 minutes of being "on hold" between transfers. Net result? AAA did nothing!
I have AAA Plus too
On the bright side..she will be fixed good as new in short order....i'm lucky to have so many friends and family skilled in mechanical know how.....not to mention i am blessed with extraordinary go-pher abilities ....
Oh well...i can play with the 56 Bel-Aire in the meantime.....

. Seriously, I do try to watch the caravans when they annouce they are going to have one, there is something very neat about watching vette after vette going down the road.
