Just wondering if we can take a bottle (glass) of liquor on the plane in our carry on bag or should we pack it in the suit case. We also have Sausage and cheese ect........ Is there any problems taking this stuff with us?????

Yes. Being an interntional traveller (Canada). I have purchaded duty free items (liquor) in glass bottles. They sugguest to put the bottles under the seat rather than the overhead bins in case the bottles move arround in transit and might break

We do a lot of Disney cruises, and I've brought glass bottles of wine coolers in my carry-on luggage many times since 9/11. The only concern I've ever run into was the quantitiy, rather than the glass itself (I got the impression they didn't want people to possibly guzzle a lot of liquor and get drunk and disorderly on board).

They are now suggesting that food items like your cheese and sausage to packed in a carry-on. Apparently food can set off their bomb sniffers and increase the likelyhood of a hand search if you check it.
