I just talked with hubby Fred who is delivering down in Ft Laud. area today. he heard on radio they are predicting Fracis to land at or about Vero Beach area. Of course it is to early to be really really sure.

It made me think of Michele, Manny, Dillon, Dana, Micheal and kids. Fred said they are further south and should get just some good gusts of wind should that prediction happen. He said the outer bands right now only stretch out about 70 miles.

We are all praying like crazy here as we have been there, done that, right ed & Donna?!!

We finally saw our insurance adjuster for mom's damage. SO unless "you know who" pays us a visit this weekend, we should be able to start the major part of repairs on mom's home. I hope so.

I don't want "francis" to ruin my birthday!!!

I didn't even know Fred was expecting. Congratulations to Fred and Winnie! Wow, that was fast. First a party for an anniversary and now Fred is delivering. Talk about interesting timing.

i just wish this storm would make up its mind...it has to be a woman...now she is coming closer to us...and you guys....don't you think enough is enough....

The adjuster just got to us today, and told us to get our roof reshingled....yeah right!!!! Eddie will up there patching to make sure the rest of it stays through Frances... then we will have to wait 'til there are more roofing supplies sent down here....

Matt you will be glad to hear that we are having Home Depot do it....they just finished putting some beautiful siding up on the house, and it withstood 100 mph winds...so I figured they were the right ones to call for the roof..

Now ......I HOPE WE WILL HAVE A ROOF TO RESHINGLE!!!!!

I may have spoken toooo soon.

It may be headed near us. YUK!!!!!

But like they keep saying it has a 250 mile degree of prediction. So anything is still possible. I am still praying like crazy. My sis is totally stressed and cried alot tonight. She still hasn''t had repairs yet for major damage from Charlie and now this. Same with my mom.

Please keep the prayer goin, and let's pray this thing away NORTH!!!!

I was listening to the 10 pm news on Fox, and they had it coming in near Melbourne...going up the coast, and Hello??? in comes the 11 pm advisory, and it is back to coming from the coast, and right throught Orlando.....AGAIN!!!!!! I know that there is this huge room for error...look at Charley....but we will be having a nervous breakdown before it gets here....we will be doing our roof repairs tomorrow...no new roof till after the hurricane....pls let there be a roof.

And praying it north east is good....no one gets hurt...

We just got our screen repairs finished from Charley . . . wah!!! I never thought I'd have to do 2 huge hurricane stocks up in a 30 day period!

It's definitely too early to call, 100 miles is nothing in hurricane talk. As we saw from Charley!!!!
We will keep our eye on it until tomorrow and decide wether to put up shutters or not?!?!?!

People are going nuts down here, I past by Ace hardware on the way home, which is always dead...there were at lest 70 people in line to get propane.....home depot opened at 6:00AM to huge lines for plywood, generators and the sort.
Michelle is bugging me to get food, I told her I'm a Chef I don't eat canned food...I can make a better meal with mud!!!!
She also wanted ice, I thought it was for the fridge but, NO..it was for the Cosmos!!!!!!!
The last time two big hurricanes came in back to back was almost 100 years ago, six weeks apart!!!
Anyway, I have to go to the liquor store now also, need Triple Sec, Bacardi and Stoli!!!!!!...I hope the line is not too long!
Hope to see you guys soon, figures this was a five day weekend for us and now this!!!!!

I just hope he waits till tomorrow morning when I am home..
We just found out yesterday that they are replacing the roof 'cause of the damage....I just hope the roof is still there..
