Hello! How much did you spend in Nassau/CC and on what? DS's are taking their own money and want to know how much they should be saving. What did you purchase in the straw market? We will also be going to Aradastra Gardens, what did you purchase there?? Thank you

I only took about $30. I wish i took more. My mom could not stand the straw market (she's weird like that) but i could have spent all day in there. Always talk your way into a cheaper price!! You get a lot of the ... "hello pretty girl, how much would you like to spend" .... so either tell them straight out ... 3 bucks ..... or lie and say .. i only have about 5 dollars on me! Become a good haggler!!
i bought some postcards ... and got the free jewlery from the papers you get when you go to the "shopping show" (sorry i dont know the real name) the 1st day you are on the ship. I also bought nail polish from DEL SOL .... YOU HAVE TO GET SOMETHING THERE... THIS STORE IS BY FAR THE BEST STORE EVER!! my brother got a shirt that changes colors... and dad got some alcohol. Take more money than you think you'll spend ... bc if you see it and you like it ... BUY IT!

It depends on how old they are and what they are looking to purchase.

We loved the straw market...our daughter (21)..got all sorts of neat trinkets for all he co-workers for great prices. She bought her self some great wood carved souveniers..the usual big bag, t-shirts, and many other things..lol. We all had a blast negotiating.

T shirts are like 4 or 5 for 10 bucks..make sure and buy the largest size available, as they shrink, shrink, shrink..lol.

Cute handbags for little girls with matching hats. The wood carvings are wonderful. The bahama dolls were a must for myself, my daughter and our grandaughter. And, then on to the alcohol store..there were tastings for alot of the mdse..so we knew what we were buying...worked out great. I only wish we would have bought more...lol.
