Hi Betsy:goodvibes

If these surveys don't start crediting, it might take closer to 20 years. I'm not going to be able to walk around WDW anymore. I'm gonna need one of those ECV thingies. Especially if I chop off all my limbs in the mean time.

I think that pretrip would definitely have to go on the community board. There's no way I could do THAT much planning.:rotfl:

The thing is, I always wait until the morning I leave to pack my stuff. Especially stuff like makeup, because I need to use it. Then I just end up putting it away without thinking. I'm a doofus like that sometimes.

I didn't get credit for the Two Cents survey yesterday, either. AND I haven't gotten it yet today. I haven't seen my OTX credits for yesterday or for two that I did last weekend. Will have to see if any of them show up tomorrow.

I just might go to a beach. Do you know I haven't seen the ocean since I was 11 years old? Unless you count some kind of a bay in Cape Cod that I went to when I was 14. But that was almost 20 years ago, too. And my kids have never seen the ocean. I'm just afraid that Shane would make me take him fishing.:scared: I don't do the whole worm on the hook thing.

Y'all are bad influences trying to get me to spend my tax refund on Disney!:lmao:

Have you lost your mind??? The whole reason I haven't bought a house yet is because I want to get OUT of this godforsaken state. Probably the only thing that's keeping me here is that I do like my job. I wonder if they'll transfer me to Florida. I know they have an office in Jacksonville.

I would love to go to Vegas just to look around, but something tells me the kids would get bored just looking at lights all the time.:lmao: I would be highly amused, though.

Plus, I'm trying to stay off planes after the last "incident.":rotfl:

Those surveys are pissing me off! I get them and they don't give me credit for them! When did this start happening? I never had a problem with this before. I've had at least 4 this week that I didn't get credit for.

I like most of the Comfort Inns I've stayed in. Some of them are older and kind of shabby. But the one good thing about them is their waffle makers. They have awesome breakfasts.

I'll come with ya!

Since you travel so much by car, I would buy an extra of make up and the other toiletries you use on a daily basis. PUt them all in a small case and keep it packed. I have a nice toiletry over the shoulder bag that I keep fully stocked, just grab and go! That way you don't forget things, plus you have a back up when you are home and run out of something that you didn't remember to get. You can use it that day, put it back in your travel bag and then get a new one when you go out.

You should join the choice hotel points thingy. Bryan is on that and every so many stays you get a free night. then they run specials, stay two separate times in a certain period and you get a free night. You just have to watch those desk clerks and stand there till they credit your Choice Acct as a lot of them get busy and forget.

I kind of thought you wanted to at least get out of that town, didn't know you wanted to get out of that state. If your company has a place in Jacksonville I"d look into a transfer. It's not too awfully far from Disney and the way you like to drive it would be no big deal to drive to Disney whenever you feel like it. That would be awesome.

I only just started to getting back into SR so I don't know yet if I'm going to have problems getting credits but if they don't work on fixing that they are going to lose people because who wants to spend all that time doing stuff and not get credit for it.

WELL!!!!!:snooty: I see NONE of my post made it through yesterday!!! All TWO of them anyway!!!!

We were having some internet probs with the storms and all and then i went to a Ladies Retreat about 45 min away just for the evening. While I was there a Tornado touched down 30 min S of us and then about 25 min I think that is considered SW of us and another one (or same one???) about an hour N of us!!!! So lots of Wind dam but thank God it Missed us. One place it hit we had just driven through about 40 min before in CLEAR weather. Had no idea there was even a chance of a Tornado!!

Hi LeeLee, I am so glad that none of those tornadoes touched down where you were. That is scary. I saw the warnings on TV and the storm fronts on the weather and they said from texas to NC was in danger. When my friend from England was here visiting I had that happen, we had just driven thru an area where the tornado touched down 20 mins before that. So scary!

Glad you are all okay!!!

It worked!!!:yay:

Anyway I had replied to you TAT!!!!

WHAT'S in TEXAS????????????????????????? *AHEM*
HELLO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!:rolleyes1

I can't believe you'd have to ask!! It's not what either it's WHO!!!

ME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

:rotfl:

And then there's this little place called San Antonio that you did mention. Did you know you can get tickets for 1 day for $36 a piece??? i'll have to find the website for it but yes our youth group just went and that's what they did. Also if you are going more than one day but don't want to buy an annual pass cause you don't live near there so you don't need to spend the $70something a piece well there is a fun card now that is a one day $54 and you can use it as much as you like ALL year. It doesn't give you any parking or shopping discounts but hey Well worth it for a 2 or 3 or or 5;) day trip. And the Alamo and the Riverwalk is all there. And there are lots of fun things to do all within walking distance of the Alamo and the Mall. Ripleys believe it or not. Davy Crocket ride and adventure etc...

And as far as a Beach GALVESTON is a great one and Moody Gardens is right there. KEMAH boardwalk is back up and running. And I'm 2 hours from Galveston and could be persuaded to come.............:rotfl:

HMPPHH!!!:snooty: WHAT'S in Texas MY FOOT!!!!!!:snooty:

;):rotfl:

That's what I tried to tell her LeeLee but did she listen? NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO! :confused3 I love San Antonio, Gaveston Bay and Moody Gardens. Then there is a Six Flags Park in Ft. Worth if she wants to do that, that is if they are still open, I heard Six Flags are in financial trouble.

Maybe we can convince her LeeLee!

Seriously, that's the first thing I thought of! I don't think my kids know that, though. I was testing them.

I remember that Pee Wee Herman movie where his bike got stolen and he had to go to the Alamo. That's always what I think of when somebody mentions the Alamo. Well, that, and Ozzy peeing on it. I'm really a nerd, huh?

With my luck, a hurricane would hit right as I got to the beach.:rotfl:

But that would be fun! We could ride out the hurricane together!

You're learning this mean thing well!!:lmao:

I always say I'm gonna do that and then I never do. I never carry that crap in my purse, though. I'm not sure why. I never have.

I'm in a couple of them. I can't remember the names of them, though. Hilton Honors is one. I don't like the one the Comfort Inn has, because if you don't use your points for one thing or another by a certain time, the points expire. You can't just build them up all you want.

Yeah, I want out of the whole state. I want away from the snow. I don't know if it is even possible, but if there's an area of the country that is completely redneck free, I'm up for moving there. I don't necessarily like to drive, I just do it all the time, so I'm used to it.

I actually got an email back from the OTX people that said they were aware of the surveys not crediting and they were "working on it." They better be. They owe me over $7 now.

I love how you act all innocent.

Six Flags is in financial trouble because they suck. I will never go back to another Six Flags as long as I live.

Well, I figured, we're not going to be there much, so I don't need a fancy place. As long as its clean & has a pool, it'll be okay. So I booked the Days Inn. Went for Travelocity through SR and it was cheaper than my AAA rate.:confused3

And there's a refrigerator and microwave in the room, so there's a bonus.:thumbsup2

NO! There will be no buttheads around to steal my seat in my car. Joe will be going to share the driving. At least he's useful for something.

I'm buying one ticket to the park with each of my next four paychecks. Easier than doing it all at once.

I read everything and I forgot to quote anything. :lmao: oops!

well, I really need to be putting together this laundry cart that I bought yesterday. be back later!

Yeah, I'm getting the unlimited admissions. The total price with the taxes is just over $108. I only bought one ticket so far.
