And now for my news. i really didn't mean to leave ya'll hanging. :sad2:

I'm still nervous about it.

Anyone remember me telling about DHs best friend who is getting married in Aug in the World???

Well he wants DH to be his best man. Of course DH would do anything for him but $$ is an issue here and his best friend understands. Well.............................................

I've been waiting and waiting to see if a good deal would come up and finally I decided to book 4 nights at a value resort and buy the tickets elsewhere which was going to save me some $$ and the whole thing would cost us$882

The date for the wedding is Aug 14th so that left us out of all these special offers UNTIL I finally get back on the net after not checking for over a week and see they extended the buy 4 night get 3 free special. Dh says we need to go and use this as the honeymoon/Anniversary trip we have never had. We have been married for over 11 years and have never had a honeymoon, Anniversary or just went off by ourselves over night!!! The only thing about going to WDW is this trip would be w/out the kids so I was having a hard time with that. BUT................I really would like to go and hey this would just make me HAVE to go back and bring the kids right?????:rolleyes1
So now I am booked from Aug 9th -Aug 16th (check out day!) at All Star Music (where the rest of the wedding party is staying) with base tickets for $839.50 What ya'll think?? If anyone knows of anything better please tell me. I thought it was a great deal but Hey I'll take any kind of discount. You know me and saving money!!!!
I am debating adding park hopper but DH and I figured we can probably get away without it since we'll be w/out kids and we have to schedule around his Dialysis anyway and we would like to have some Down town Disney time and shhhhh *gasp* maybe go off property *gasp* at least to go Shopping at a store i heard of!!!:rotfl: You can get the same shirts and stuff as inside the park for half the price sooo............................
But I don't know the thought of not having the park hopper bothers me so we might still add it. What do ya'll think??? Should we or shouldn't we???;)

Another thing is should I but the DDP or wing it? Is it cost effective? or should I stock up on things I can heat in a microwave cause we are seriously thinking of bringing a little one. We are driving and without the kiddos we'll have plenty of room n the van. UGH I feel so GUILTY for saying that!!!

Anyway all advice would be greatly appreciated. So feel free to sling any and all my way.

And yes I do realize this means I need to finish my TR from over a year ago!!!:rotfl2:

That's awesome Lee Lee I'm happy for you. Don't feel guilty. You give and give and give of yourself all the time, there is nothing wrong with wanting some alone time with your hubby. You deserve it.

It sounds like you got a good deal and I don't think there are any other deals that are any better at this time. In regards to the DDP you can always add it later if you ocme up with the extra money. Same thing with the Park Hopper option, you can add it later. As long as you don't use the ticket first, you can add it on at Guest Services. Also if you buy the mug at your food court you can have all the refills you want all week in the food court. You just take your mug with you down to the food court, get coffee, soda, tea, whatever you prefer and it costs nothing after that first purchase.

I hope that you have an awesome time, too bad I won't still be down here in August, I would have loved to have met you in person!

LeeLee, I just realized that you are leaving Disneyworld on my anniversary.:goodvibes

Well time for me to get back off here. I wish I had more time but at least I am finding time to get on a little each night now.

Miss ya'll!:grouphug:

And Marshay you ought to love this. The only place I ever stayed there was the Beach club. now I'm in All Stars!!! Oh well it's Disney!!!

oh, wow! Yeah, there's quite a bit of difference between those resorts!:rotfl2:

Since having DVC, I'm such a resort snob now...but it helps when the rooms are already all paid for.

I stayed AS Movies with a girlfriend and it was fine. I actually love their food court -- the food courts at the deluxe resorts are pretty blah.

But as you said, you're at Disney and I'd rather be in AS at Disney than home! :thumbsup2

I know you'll still have a great time and since you guys are going child-less, the larger room isn't really necessary.

Adam did "Satisfaction" by the Rolling Stones -- he rocked it and totally changed it up to make it his own. Hope Kody can enjoy it tomorrow!

I'm hoping tomorrow I can keep food and water down, so calling it a night.

G'nite Michele and family!
