Sorry everyone. I did not mean to tell a lie!![]()
I have a friend in from Alaska that I haven't seen in over 11 years. We grew up as "cousins" Her parents and my parents have been best friends for almost 40 years. Anyway she was shopping with her mom and my mom yesterday for things they can't get easily in the frozen north and I didn't think I would see her. she flys back this afternoon. anyway i ran into them at Jack in the Box while we were getting our free tacos. Anyone else get theirs? It was just for yesterday. If you get a chance check out that website. Hangintherejack.com it's funny!!
Anyway ran into them and the rest is history. Still had to go to Wally World and Didn't get home till after 11 and was exhausted
Its okay leelee.....we were just messing with ya
that is so nice you ran into her
And now for my news. i really didn't mean to leave ya'll hanging.![]()
I'm still nervous about it.
Anyone remember me telling about DHs best friend who is getting married in Aug in the World???
Well he wants DH to be his best man. Of course DH would do anything for him but $$ is an issue here and his best friend understands. Well.............................................
I've been waiting and waiting to see if a good deal would come up and finally I decided to book 4 nights at a value resort and buy the tickets elsewhere which was going to save me some $$ and the whole thing would cost us$882
The date for the wedding is Aug 14th so that left us out of all these special offers UNTIL I finally get back on the net after not checking for over a week and see they extended the buy 4 night get 3 free special. Dh says we need to go and use this as the honeymoon/Anniversary trip we have never had. We have been married for over 11 years and have never had a honeymoon, Anniversary or just went off by ourselves over night!!! The only thing about going to WDW is this trip would be w/out the kids so I was having a hard time with that. BUT................I really would like to go and hey this would just make me HAVE to go back and bring the kids right?????![]()
So now I am booked from Aug 9th -Aug 16th (check out day!) at All Star Music (where the rest of the wedding party is staying) with base tickets for $839.50 What ya'll think?? If anyone knows of anything better please tell me. I thought it was a great deal but Hey I'll take any kind of discount. You know me and saving money!!!!![]()
I am debating adding park hopper but DH and I figured we can probably get away without it since we'll be w/out kids and we have to schedule around his Dialysis anyway and we would like to have some Down town Disney time and shhhhh *gasp* maybe go off property *gasp* at least to go Shopping at a store i heard of!!!You can get the same shirts and stuff as inside the park for half the price sooo............................
But I don't know the thought of not having the park hopper bothers me so we might still add it. What do ya'll think??? Should we or shouldn't we???![]()
Another thing is should I but the DDP or wing it? Is it cost effective? or should I stock up on things I can heat in a microwave cause we are seriously thinking of bringing a little one. We are driving and without the kiddos we'll have plenty of room n the van. UGH I feel so GUILTY for saying that!!!
Anyway all advice would be greatly appreciated. So feel free to sling any and all my way.
And yes I do realize this means I need to finish my TR from over a year ago!!!![]()
I think that deal is incredible and not sure if any way to get cheaper
are you driving or flying?
Well, to add park hoppers, don't quote me, but I am pretty sure it would only be an additional $100 total...so that 50 a piece
Not too shabby and be nice to not be committed to same park all day
So whatever bug is going around finally hit me last night. Couldn't keep anything down or in me last night/this morning.
Now I'm really hungry (or more appropriately, the baby is), but I'm trying to be really careful what I eat.
When is spring coming? I so can't wait to get outside in the warmer weather and away from all the sniffles and worse...
Aw, t hat stinks
Hope you are feeling better
I really am leaning more toward the hopper for those just in case moments. For instance that Sat The wedding party is taking pic in MK before it opens Well I personally don't want to spend all of my Sat there if i don't have to since that is one of its busiest days. And of course since the only time we went we had hopper and the DDP i am spoiled. I keep adding prices up and even with us bringing water snacks and sharing some meals Just one sit down dinner can be quiet expensive OOP and DH is doing so good on his eating habits that I'm thinking we will prob. be better off with the plan. I'm figuring up ways to save money and the phone has gone crazy today. We have 2 family portrait shoots scheduled for this w/E So if business can keep up like this.
Even just 1 big shoot a week we could add every thing i want and upgrade!!!!!But I'll play it on the downlow and just keep it cheap right now!!!

And Marshay you ought to love this. The only place I ever stayed there was the Beach club. now I'm in All Stars!!!Oh well it's Disney!!!

I would go with hopper for now and if later on you have extra funds saved up, add on at least counter service plan.....
So happy for ya.....you and your dh definitely deserve this trip

You can get the same shirts and stuff as inside the park for half the price sooo............................
But I'll play it on the downlow and just keep it cheap right now!!!
