I'm messing with when to book for Disney again We found out that they are giving PA residents a free night if you book 2 nights since the Steelers won the SuperBowl. We are thinking of taking a long weekend and seeing what that works out to be. Maybe flying in Thursday and staying offsite and then staying at Disney for Fri, Sat, Sun and coming home Monday. DH would only miss 1 full day of work. Hmmm

As for the TreeHouse Villas...I loved that picture so I stole it I believe since my home resort is SSR...that we also will have an 11 month booking window of the Treehouses too! I need to ask Marshay about that one!

Yeah I am happy to just get away from home honestly. I have looked at that sign for the last five weeks and giggling I made Scotty take a picture this week. I do the taxes so they were done as soon as I got the paperwork. And yeah a little busy at least.

How are you feeling? How's your DD? Is she excited about being a big sister?

So far pretty good...was doing really good at only 1 lb per week but last week gained 3 lbs in one week...guess baby is putting on the weight!

DD is really excited about baby and being a big sister. She's been telling everyone (store clerks, bank tellers, etc) that "Mommy is going to have a baby and I'm going to be a big sister!" It's cute ... except then everyone stares right at my bulging stomach!

I forgot. What is your induction date again?

My C-section (not induction) is scheduled for March 16th at 8:30am...I'm just hoping my water doesn't break before then. Had a girlfriend just deliver 4 weeks early!

Yes, since we both own SSR, we can book the treehouses at 11 month booking window...we don't have to specifically purchase at the treehouses...anywhere at SSR is fine. And the good news is that they are the same number of points as a 2BR at SSR ... so you get more bang for your buck.

Yeah, sorry about that.

ALTHOUGH I sent a very nice email to Shutterfly and forwarded the notice with code/restrictions, etc and asked if Shutterfly would still honor it anyway.

They responded that the code was specific to one person and wasn't supposed to be for the 'general public' but that they would honor it for me if I finished the book by Feb 8th.

So I finished my book yesterday and sure enough, all I had to pay for was taxes and shipping.

Ok, guys .. what, if any, are your Valentine's Day plans.

I'm hoping one of you have something exciting going on ... cuz I don't!

My sister and her family are going to be in town, so we'll be doing the hosting thing...the good part is that they will watch DD Saturday night so DH and I can go out to dinner. We got a gift certificate two Xmas ago (yes, 2007!) and still haven't used it...but now we will!

We will actually be camping over that weekend and we usually go out to eat at least one night when we go camping so I think it will be Saturday night. I will prob get DH one of those pairs of Valentine boxers and some candy and a card. Will have to wait to see what he'll get me because he just bought me six place settings of Disney dinnerware, a disney bath matt, a Daisy Duck tee shirt, a white button down disney shirt and something else but right now I can't remember. I'll remember tomorrow when the boxes arrive, lol! I can't wait!

Hi Everyone

Sorry to be out the past few days. Ended up taking SB to the Doc on Friday because she still needed to be checked for fluid in her one ear and I was worried an infection was setting in...the good news is no infection or fluid is there...the bad news is we just have one heck of a stubborn cold that the Doc said could go for 2 weeks

In other news, my SIL came to stay for the weekend. She currently lives in Chicago and is interviewing for an Opthamologist position in the area. She brought her Wii Fit so we have been playing with and it's pretty neat...just wish I felt better to do more.

I've missed you all and probably won't be around much today. SB had been going crazy to build a snowman and I promised her if we felt decent today we would do it. Then the Steelers play tonight so this house will be a Steeler zone!

Hi Betsy, sorry SB is still having that bad cold bother her and you too, wish you would feel better. You've both been down a while now it seems. Hope you finally feel better.

I am dying to get a Wii and if we ever get one I want the Wii Fit, I think that is finally an exercise I may actually do because I hear it is fun.

I watched the Super Bowl Sunday but more for the commercials since the Eagles weren't in it,lol. But actually it was a good game! My favorite commerical I think was the Doritos with the bus, that was hysterical and I loved the Clydesdale that went to fetch the stick, LMAO, that was a riot!

Well we did finally get them back. They were converting over and I guess some of the channels worked and some didn't but as of today, we have all the network channels, Headline News and so I am finally happy again, lol.

Oh and I figure that she is popping out more money makers for that wonderful California welfare system. Is it any wonder we are going broke?

I thought the government at one time ruled that no matter how many kids you have, you will only get so much welfare. I hope that's true as someone like that who intentionally gets herself pregnant with a multiple birth deserves nothing!

Did everybody get their taxes done yet? We did ours yesterday.

We're getting a small refund back. Not enough to go on vacation or anything. We make too much to qualify for anything like the EITC, we don't get anything back on the state taxes, either. Some of the refund has to go towards paying local taxes. Blah. Maybe we can afford a small flat screen TV when its all said and done.

In today's mail we got my W2's so now we can actually file. Bryan will do them on Turbo Tax. We usually have to pay Federal but usually receive a refund on the state, close to the amount we have to pay the Feds so that usually works out pretty well!

That's my thought. Well on to happier things. Scotty has a race on Valentines day. We are going down and staying the night before because I can't face leaving at like 3 o'clock in the morning to be at bicycle races all day. I encouraged him to sign up thinking we would have a romantic night away but alas we have three children So we will be staying in connecting rooms at Best Western in the exciting town of Coalinga, CA. Oh yeah fun times.

A race on Valentine's day???

Joe's birthday is Valentine's day, so I always get, you guessed it, NOTHING. Our anniversary is a week later. I don't get anything for that either. I would love to get out of here and take a vacation for our anniversary. I don't see it happening, though. I know I would have to pay for the whole thing myself (like I always do ), and to tell you the truth, I really don't like him enough to spend a week with him right now. Let alone pay for his sorry butt, too. I'd rather go with my mother.

Actually, the kids are in skating lessons, so I really can't leave them for any length of time. If I went with Joe, I couldn't really ask my mom to take them for that long. And if I went with my mom, I couldn't trust Joe to take them. I guess I'm stuck here until they're out of school and I can take them somewhere myself.

I think going away for a vacation for your anniversary is a great idea. My only question is where is Joe going to go while you are on vacation?

yes and no.. i agree she should get nothing because she intentionally got preg with multiples and has hella kids already but you do get more money on welfare.. the more eligable people you have on your case the more money you get.

Scotty was so wonderful when I was sick. He was the one that bathed me and everything. I really didn't want anyone else to do it. I will never understand Joe except to say that some people cannot deal with illness. Mind you I am not making excuses.

Yeah I thought that it would be a great time for Scotty and I to go alone. We would only need to buy two one day tickets. We would also could do one two day. Whatever but it would be fun I thought but no he doesn't want to burn a day off.

Michelle, doesn't Disney Land give a free day for your birthday like Disney World does? That would give you each a free day and then you would only have to buy one day each. You should check it out. I registered on line for Bryan's free birthday visit.
