I watched Elizabethtown tonight (Kirstin Dunst and Orlando Bloom) -- Great movie!!

If you haven't seen, I highly recommend...sort of a mix of romantic comedy, chick-flick and drama.

Definitely not my usual "Indiania Jones meets The Mummy in Jurassic Park" adventure movie, but it was good!

Sorry, I got caught up on the DVC boards with the new changes coming out to DVC.

It's still the same season of Top Chef...they just started the Restaurant Wars tonight, so they are just less than 1/2 way through the season.

Yep, I'll probably watch Hell's Kitchen too. I did see a few shows last year I think.

Morning all!

It used to be less points to vacation Sunday to Thursday than it was to do Friday-Saturday with DVC points. Basically you could go 5 nights for the same points as just a weekend.

In 2010, DVC is changing that (although they pulled the charts and now everyone is wondering what's up). So if you stay a full week, Sunday to Sunday like we normally do, it's actually the same or less points than before.

But for all those folks out there who just went Sunday to Friday morning and then got a different hotel for the weekend and then checked back in on Sunday again, it's going to cost them like 25 more points to do that.

I personally like the change but I see where others don't.

Hi Everyone, in today's paper here in Orlando there was an article on how the recession is hurting Disney. They are handing out 619 voluntary severance packages to their executives. According to how many of them accept it, if it's not enough, they will then start involuntary lay offs.

How this affects the park is this...Disney World has reduced showings of the "Fantasmic!" laser-and-fireworks evening show in DHS to twice a week; it has elimated dining with characters at Liberty Tavern and has ended the "Pocahontas" show in AK.

That's an FYI for anyone who is going to DW, make sure you plan your days right so that you dont' miss Fantasmic and if you have Liberty Tavern ressies because you want a character dinner, you may want to check if it has taken effect yet and change your reservations accordingly.

Its a sad day when Disney has to cut back!

Thanks for the prayers girls. I think they worked because I didn't feel anything. The numbness is starting to wear off now and its getting a little sore. But I drove myself home and I'm going to work tomorrow so it can't be that bad, right?

Marshay - That massage sounds wonderful. One of these days I'll splurge and get myself a massage.

Nic - 4 inches of snow?? Wow! We must have sent it to you. You can thank us Northerners later. Good thing your kids were off school. I can imagine how mad they'd be having to make up a school day on a Saturday!

Steph - That stinks. I hope you feel better. Cheri went through some really nasty stuff trying to find out if she was having problems with her gall bladder. I hope that's not what it is. Oh, and I hate vicodin too, but be glad it isn't percocet. That's even worse.

Nikki, I managed to get a few minutes tonight and read back a few pages and saw you had surgery. I am so sorry I wasn't here to wish you well. I am glad to hear it all went well though. I can't believe you drove yourself home, that's just not right.

Steph sorry to hear you have gallstones and may need your gall bladder out. That happened to a close friend of mine with her pregnancy too, she did find thou after and you will as well. You got lots of people around to help you out with Jason while you recuperate!

Marshay, that massage sounds wonderful. I have never had a real massage and always wanted to get one at least once but so far haven't had the pleasure
