hey all!

DD and I made chocolate spoons today. It was fun and looks great.

Just melt choc chips and then dip a plastic heavy-duty spoon inside. Decorate with multi-color sprinkles and once it's hard (I put our in the garage for an hour), then tie in small candy bag and wrap with ribbon!

I also added a bit of mint extract to the chocolate.

We'll use them for our hot cocoa later this week.

that the great thing about this site, no cord needed. You just sign up and they send a text msg to your phone with a code. You enter the code into site to activate and you are set to go.

You pick songs, click on send to my phone. It sends a text msg to your phone..you clikc on it to download and then set as your ringtone..takes like 2 mins

I have to get up early, too. want to be at work by 8:30, 9am at latest, since I can only stay til about 12:30 as trent has his christmas concert and party and we have to be there at 1:30

It snowed like crazy but it didn't accumalate on the ground where I was. I guess we are too close to the water. My kids were in school. I had just dropped them off and 15 minutes later it started snowing

I hope the school took the kids out to play in it for a few minutes since it is a rarity in Louisiana!

So did you start downloading ringtones too?

I haven't wrapped a thing, can't take wrapped gifts on a plane so am wrapping everything at Sharky's house when I get there!

Every class had theirs in their own classroom, so was not too loud this time around for Trent

He had moroccans, bells and shakers to make music for certain songs.


They sang We wish you a merry Christmas, One Little, Two little, Three Little candle(Kwanza), Dredel son and a few others that I am forgetting

But it was so cute as they had little moves for each song


show you pics when ya get up here and steve will have to do video as I have no clue how to do that

I will share pics with all next week or over weekend.

Did you wrap the gifts in your checked bag? I think you are allowed to do that, just not in your carryon

Oh I love them, have not thought about those in years. I had gotten a few through the years as gifts. They are a great idea! Not to mention delicious!

Just make sure you use a spoon that is "heavey-duty" so it doesn't melt in the hot chocolate!

But if she has to be induced, probably not

when I was having Trent, they told me if I needed to be induced, they do it either two days before or two days after Thanksgiving, but not day before as they try to not work holidays

Love is coming to Mich for Christmas!! I think they are on the road as I type....!!! (I promised her kids I would take them sledding!!!)
Wait till they get to Mich, 18" of snow.......snowing now......Our kids had school Mon. & today......it was cancelled. SNOW DAYS......the boys were hooting and hollering when they canc. it........I told them good they can shovel the driveway, they wont !!!!!

I am in the middle of having 6 days off work, returning to work Friday..

Marshay, when is your next trip?? I have seen some great deals on DVC re sales.....I am tempted!!

There is so much out there right now it's unbelievable. A lot of people are renting points and selling just b/c of the way the economy is. I'm sorry for them but what a great deal for someone who wants to buy!

I cannot say enough good things about DVC IF you plan to go to Disney regularly anyway and have the $$ to pay outright or pay the loan each month. To us it was a no-brainer -- HAHA -- I say that as a Monday Morning Quarterback. At the time, we struggled with the decision whether it was worth it or not. I really didn't know anyone who owned it and if I did that would have helped out tremendously.

Ok, before I get on yet another DVC tangent, all I can say is you won't regret it if you are already a Disney freak. Even my DH (definitely NOT a Disney freak says that it was a good decision and he really looks forward to vacationing there with the kids -- the most practical place to vacay with kids.
