Its the Mega Block Brand Mickey Mouse Clubhouse Garage, decent sized box, it may fit in carry on, have to see. I have Aunt Frannie and Uncle Ed's gifts and Gary's so may just have to put all in one box and ship to you. I'm just disappointed as I thought we were driving up so I thought this wasn't going to be an issue this year with me being out of work, shipping is expensive but better than having the gifts lost by the airlines.

Here's a thought...Can your laptop fit in your carryon? It should be as you have a HUGE one

Put laptop in your carryon.

THen that leaves you the option of having something else as your one extra item

You get a shopping bag, and throw in trent, gary, aunt frannie and uncle ed's gifts...Just remember, you can not wrap them.....


What you got for them should all be small

Ditto -- that baby is great! When we did it, we had to carry around an egg and everyone not in the class would try to crack the egg. I've also heard of using a 10 lb bag of sugar.

Those deer and the snow are pretty!

Steph -- most hospitals also sell nursing bras so if you don't have one before, you can always buy there. Some people suggest waiting until the colostrum or even the milk comes in to get your nursing bra, that way you'll know what size is appropriate b/c you will get bigger/fuller!

Lanolin Lotion is good to have in case your ^^^^ get sore and chapped.

Other things to bring:

- a large plastic bag or envelope to put all kinds of "remembrances" in it.

- pen and paper (or just use baby book) to write some of your thoughts and to have your guests sign and write a note

- chapstick

I already got a nursing bra from Target.. pretty decent priced and the way it fits it would still be comfy if i get bigger.. i have been "leaking" for like 4 months now so i dunno if thats a sign ill be good to go on nursing or not but if i cant ill just pretty much eat the cost of the bra (Josh bought it anyways.. )

good idea on the bag thing.. ill have to stick one in the backpack.. and I always have nchapstick in my purse..

Joshs aunt got me some lanolin cream and pads as part of my gift at the baby shower.. so thats covered for a bit.

Josh finally felt the baby kick pretty hard the other night.. it was sweet.. but baby has been all finiky about being felt.. he'll kick like crazy and as soon someone goes to feel i the stops..

I tried looking them up on google because someone said they were also called yule logs but i couldnt find it.. i found something kinda along the same lines but it had cocnut and oatmeal and wasnt dipped in chocolate....

I'll have to go on US Air and find out if I am allowed an extra item. All the airlines are so different and picky these days. I put my laptop in my carry on last time but in it's case, this time I could put it in without the case, takes up less room that way, just cushion it on top of some stuff. I don't have to bring a lot of toiletries as you'll have mostly everything I need, just my personal stuff and make up. If I can get all my clothing in my reg suitcase, put all the gifts in the carry on, they'd probably fit and use my computer as my personal item, I could get away with out a purse, prob put a small one in my carry on. How does that sound?

Been pretty busy here! Got our tree put up and a lot more shopping done. StinkerBelle loves Dinosaurs and their was a show that was here called Walking with Dinosaurs. We took her to that on Saturday and made a day of it. We had a blast!

Went shopping a little yesterday and ended up buying a Disney Princess Tea Cart from the Disney store. I'm still wondering why I did that??? We have so much for Christmas already but the darn thing was 50% off and then I had a coupon for 25%. I need a class in toy organization or storage here

Well, off to run some errands and try to find my family room!

Get some cocoa butter for your belly, if you aren't already putting it on, which you should be, it will still help some for your stretch marks.

Babies never kick when someone touches your belly its seems. You want someone to feel it and they won't perform, lol. It's cool when you lay down though and watch it as you can see the movements sometimes. has Josh experienced that yet?

Good Morning Betsy! Sounds like you are really all ready for Christmas. That is great. I am so going to miss the traditional Christmas being here in FL with no tree and very very few decorations. I wish we'd thought about that when we left Louisiana so we could have brought some things with us and our small tree.

The tea cart sounds adorable and with a bargain like that, how could you not get it, lol. I was the same way when the kids were small, we had more toys than we had room, lol. Stinkerbelle is going to love it! I am sure you'll find a way to fit it all in, somehow we always do, lol.
