I LOVED Wipeout!! Was the only good thing in my evening last night.

I wanted to post these. They are the material that I picked up at that quilt shoppe in Auburn.

I got them originally hoping to make a quilted pillow for Loren's band teacher but because they are closing the school shortly I need to quickly get something made so I am only going to make a regular pillow.

what is wipeout? Is that the show with the japanese people doing crazy stunt races?

Glad to hear your mom only has a cyst.

Well I had some good news on that front. At his school they have teams of teachers and the kids are separated to these teams, and they are supposed to change schools as complete teams including their teachers. That pleased me, as far as their band teacher he has taught in the district for 27 years and he is going to use his seniority to get the job he wants.

Yeah they have the same team of teachers for the seventh and eighth grade. It is nice because they can bond and get ready for high school easier.

No they are going to move them into existing schools. It's going to be a mess. Our Middle schools are already over crowded. The only reason they don;t close any of the high schools is because there is no where to put the kids. They are having another meeting tonight to vote on closing more schools.

I'm so glad Michele, that's awesome. I'm so glad that Loren is going to get to stay with his teacher and classmates and that he most likely still will have his band teacher. That's great news!

Cheri, glad to hear your Mom's ultrasound came out with just a cyst. I'm sure it is still upsetting to know something is wrong somewhere but not know what it is. I truly hope they can figure it all out and get her well again. Tell her to hang in there, sooner or later s omeone is going to figure it all out and then she'll be fine!!!
