I had said I'd update y'all on anything with my mom. She is having a diagnostic mammogram this afternoon since her lymph nodes all started with her underarms. I am praying that it all comes back clean. NO cancer!

Okay, I am back. I had to go to the grocery store and pick up the two well kids from school.

I just broke my laptop!

No really....I'm actually kind of glad.....I hated that thing from day 1.

Windows vista sucked! My Dad loaded XP on it and couldn't get all the drivers for everything to work right with XP. The letters were being rubbed off the keyboard so I had no idea what letters where what w/o putting my fingers on the correct keys. My internet security suite just recently stopped working correctly.....etc etc etc. The stupid wireless network button was a switch on the outside left of my computer so I would accidentally shut off the wireless network at least once a week making me shut down my computer and re-start every time it happened. It had WAY too many quirks.

So, I got all pouty and upset that I was going to have to share a laptop with Chris. But he said he doesn't want to have to share either because then he'd never be able to get online (I'd have it all the time) so he agreed that I can get one of the new/cheap netbooks. I'm currently considering a BLUE Acer one that I'm pretty gaga over so all in all this is a good thing
Maybe I need to break electronics more often

Well, we are off to the races today. Scotty is riding in a race up in beautiful Auburn, California. I will be sure and have our family photographer take some touristy pictures so I post them. Have a great day everybody.

Hi to all!! I miss being on here. We are still having internet probs, health probs just being too busy probs!!
We switched to verizon internet but it's an aircard and it's just been a week and we've used 3/4 of the GB we have a month so trying to be carefull on that. still have our wireless which is NOT working so hopefully someone will be back out tomorrow to see if they can fix this. We are a mile from the tower so it's very aggravating.

Shannon has recovered pretty good from the last 2 surgeries he had in the past 3 weeks. Still has a spot that is not healing well but over all o.k.

Braeton is still having major sensory issues since his surgery a couple weeks aago but Braeton is Braeton and he's atough little thing. I have a video postedd of him on my FB for those that would like to see. He went to a special needs Field Day and the cid is of him in a walker race. The last time he was there was 2 years ago and he was in the w/c races. Friday was a rough day and he ended up being in his w/chair but he was determined to run in the walker race and then in the Foot race!! He was the last person to finish in the foot race of course but he did it!!!
He came home with 9 or 10 ribbons!!
Proud of that little bugger and his NEVER GIVE UP attitude!!
Tat could you please get on FB just to look at him and then you never have to get back on. Really. It's not addictive or anything.

Did you post here that they had surgery? I admit, I've been skimming lately so I might have missed it. I had no idea. That's rough having back to back surgeries. I did three within less than a month's time, two of them being brain surgeries, and I felt like crap. Glad your boys are able to bounce back like they do.

I'm also getting really bad about replying to PMs. Did I give you my number? You'll have to send me a video of Braeton or something. I'm still afraid of facebook.

I agree with you all about SYTYCD. I started watching part of it and turned it off. Was completely bored and that female judge ...I know this is absolutely bad to say but there is something so wrong about her face that I can't stand to look at her...

So I DVR'd J&K+8 tonight and will watch that. TLC had a marathon this weekend which was great for me since I was able to watch a lot of shows while nursing.

Did anyone catch it tonight?? It's the first show where Jon and Kate are separated. It was really, really sad. Yes, I'm such a sap that I cried, esp when they showed the pics from when the kids were preemies until 5 yo.

Elie is in her Bumbo seat (specially designed seat for infants to be able to sit up when they can't do it by themselves...also gives her some tummy time) and Rachel was playing the "aren't we cute?" game.
