Hehehe, Texas has some good qualities ...like 6th Street in Austin and South Padre (can you tell I was there in my youth? ). I just wish I hadn't been stationed at Ft Hood/Killeen


As far as the Texas Hold'em went, I didn't make it to the final table. I bet big on a straight and got nailed by a guy who had a higher straight and was out within 3 hands after that Roxy made it further than me and almost made the final table though

But, we put $20 into raffle tickets and won a dinner excursion for 2 on the Hellgate Jetboat Dinner Excursion, 2 tickets to the movies, $10 in coffee bucks, and a $25 gas card. Not bad aye? The funny bit was that quite a few of the people from last year were there this year and at that raffle we won $80 in coffee money and a gas card, so we got our share of heckling when we won Hellgate on our first ticket

Considering the first prize for the tournament itself was a $75 gift certificate at a local grocery store, I think we made out pretty good The only downer is that this year they had trophies ...would have been cool to have gotten one from getting 2nd last year

Ah well - quiet day planned today. Might go out and work in the yard ...need to weedeat and mow. And of course the PS3 and Wii are calling to me, hehehe.

I did a little in the yard clearing out some debris and stuff and then put the living room back together after Bean and 2 of her friends spent the night in there. Also got some good gameplay in and watched a "guy" movie while the ladies were out shopping at the Gottschalks going out of business sale.

Tomorrow I shall do the weedeating and mowing as it is supposed to be up in the 70s :-]

My Dad and Bro in Law were preaching at a meeting there Soooo as they are the main musician and Sis is also our music director right now. My Sis in Law is over the music while they are gone so she is playing the Piano and I was informed I would be singing tonight
I normally praise sing but since our Sanctuary is under construction we are having church in our Fellowship Hall and we only have a Tiny sound set up in there So Just one mike. Which means ME!! My VOICe!! ALONE!!!!

No I am NOT going to video and Post!!!

Or on second thought maybe i will!!! Should create a few nightmares!!!

When we came home he played church and Dismissed w/in 10 min!!
He said Mom We just went to God and Braetons Gospel Church with me Pastor Braeton. I already prayed! We can go to bed anytime now!!!!!



That child is a hoot!!

I hope this means he'll go to sleep and I won't have to worry about him while I'm croak..... I mean singing!!!
