Last night I was so tired (was the first day all on my own since my mom went home and DH went to work). But we did survive!

I couldn't get DD#2 to sleep at all...was finding myself getting all upset so finally I hand DD#2 to DH at 9:30pm and said, "She's Yours!" and walked away.

DH woke me up at midnight and asked if I wanted to nurse her or should I just give her some formula...I said, give her formula and fell back to sleep. I actually got 5 hours of sleep last night!!! It felt like

Thanks! I look at some of these pics and just can't wait to scrap them!!

Things are going. With DD3, it's like walking on egg shells...I never know what's going to set her off...however, she keeps telling me about once an hour, "Mommy, I love you!"...so I guess I'm doing something right!

Yep he tries sometimes. he has never liked the "going" part though. Once he's there he's fine. He keeps telling people when he's in 3rd grade he might get to homeschool and then he keeps trying to negotiate next year with me!!!

I am having a hard time with Kacy and Loren when Kody stays home. I almost think that they think I am playing favorites because she has missed so much school due to her headaches. Today is one of those wonderful days where everyone is at school and I haver time alone. I love my kids but I need this alone time.

I understand that from all the time i use to have with Braeton and Tyler always had to go to school. Now there has definatly been some good in a bad situation because Tyler is getting time with me now. It's always been so focused on Braeton and his Dad that now i think he can see it from all levels. It's been an adjustment on Braeton because it's normally ALL about him but he is growing up and it's really neat to see him try to "take care" of Tyler!!

I actually try to do the Kacy is the oldest thing. I encourage her to branch out and do things with her friends and she normally doesn't. She finally did this weekend, she went to the mall with a friend and they saw a movie and window shopped. My Dad was a middle child and he impressed upon me how important it was to make sure that Kody never felt that she was the "middle" one. I have worked real hard to make sure that it doesn't happen, I probably over do it to tell you the truth.

i have an older Sister that was a lot like that. We were very close, in the same grade from 6th grade on. i was the more social one. Now she's involved in more stuff than I've ever dreamed of!! What's funny is she's stll considered to be the "quiet" one until you get to know her.

My husband was working so I went up to visit him. We stayed at the Hard Rock -- very nice. We got to see the river turned green and ate a place called Giaco (sp?). It was delicious!

Well back to work I went today Can't play with my new friends during the day so I will have to wait until the evenings to chat.

Leah - Congrats on getting back into your Sunday School Rooms......Glad Braeton had a good time at the Civil War performance. I read that Braeton had a tough day - how is he doing?

Michele - The yarn store I go to is about 25 minutes from home. I would travel ANYWHERE for this group of women......the owner of the store cares more about forming a community or "family" then anything else. Her attitude is if you have a community the rest will come to the business. What type of headaches is Kody having?

OrangeBlossom - What brought you to Chicago? Where did you stay?

Karen - How was the pool? The snow is slowly starting to melt BUT they are talking about snow showers later on this weekend I am about 35 minutes from Downers Grove and a looooong way from Dixon

It is the only way teens seem to communicate My girls have taught my DH and I how to do it. Sometimes when DH is in the bedroom and I am somewhere else in the house I will text him just to annoy him

Oh, I feel for you! I don't -think Elie- has colic but she makes all these noises (grunts, groans, etc) and is spitting up a lot. We're trying to judge when she is so uncomfortable she needs to be held and when she'll just settle down by herself.

Trent was like. He was not colic. FOrget now what it was called. He would arch his back a lot. We would have to put a drop of something in his forumla. That helped so much. when I think of the name, I will let you know...I have no memory as of right now
