So I just heard from Chris. It looks like he might have a hairline stress fracture so his Primary Care Dr sent him for X-Rays which is where Chris is at now. The Dr put a Stat order on the X-Rays so we should get the results today and then we'll go from there. I guess I'll be pushing Chris around in a wheel chair @ MGM and MK on the 23rd.

What's a GAC card?

Guest Assistance Card.

You can use this at WDW to make your trip a bit easier when you have temporary or permanent injuries, disabilities and other health related impacts.

Depending on your circumstances and the ride and the CM, (etc), you may be able to get in shows and on rides using the handicap entrance...other times it will allow you to use the Fastpass entrance (even if you don't have a FP), etc. Each ride and show is different and the GAC card will be different whether he can walk with crutches or cane or in a wheelchair or scooter.

For example, at Soarin, my mom was using a cane and her GAC card let her use the FP entrance w/o a FP. However, our friend who was in a wheelchair/scooter had to use the regular entrance since it was all wheelchair accessible.

But on other rides, my friend could use a back entrance (like at POC).

Toy Story Mania has a handicap entrance and loading area that is different (so you don't have to do the stairs).

that I just stumbled upon. I was searching for WDW Monorail Pilot pin and happened upon that shirt. I have way too much down time at work.

Yes, it's not a fracture so now we have no idea what it is. We now have to play the waiting game to see what the blood work results say and the Dr said that can take anywhere from 7 - 10 business days to get the results on. Needless to say, Chris is not a happy camper right now.

Thanks Cheri! I'll tell her. She's being pro-active right now so that's good at least. Not just sitting on her booty and being depressed. I really hope she can find something else down there in FL so she doesn't have to move again.

I had a long day today. The weather here has been stormy and that sets the kids in my classroom way off. They have all been really difficult this week. I don't know how many times today I had to just stop and say, "Wow, really?".

Chrissmiss, Panama City is in the panhandle right on the gulf. I'm excited but I know my kids will be sad at first... that is going to be hard.

I had a long day today. The weather here has been stormy and that sets the kids in my classroom way off. They have all been really difficult this week. I don't know how many times today I had to just stop and say, "Wow, really?".

Chrissmiss, Panama City is in the panhandle right on the gulf. I'm excited but I know my kids will be sad at first... that is going to be hard.

It was so stormy here, too. I actually jumped

Sure it will take a bit of adjustment, but once they get there and start making friends and see all of Palm trees, sure it will be good

Happy Thursday everyone. I've only been at work for an hour and a half and I'm already bored. My Dad and Uncle are in PA visiting their Mom for Mother's Day so it's going to be a VERY quiet day here in the office. Maybe I'll do some reading of my UG today or maybe I'll even do some SRing.

I went to Jenny Craig yesterday and lost 1.5 lbs. Not as much as I had hoped but definitely a loss So far I like the food......easy to follow. I need to move more as in exercise but my knee keeps me from moving as much as I need to. Going to try to do exercise in shorter bursts.....

Going to the DR in a couple of weeks for another round of gel shots. I am totally bone on bone and this will give me a cushion. I am headed for knee replacement but hope to hold off until next summer.

It BITES for the body to get old BUT I have never been happier and more mellow than I am now.....so I will take it and keep using super glue on the body parts
