Yes we had fun.

My family (sister is in town with kids and her DH) went to church this am, then we had an easter egg hunt in our backyard, a delicious salmon dinner my husband made and then we went to a church easter egg hunt with games and food.

It was good.

We decorated eggs yesterday and it was fun!

I finally made it to the new thread!!!!....We just returned home last night from a week in Gulf Shores ALA BAMA !!!!
Had a good time, weather not so much.....mid 60's, few days in 70's....got some sun, a little tan!!!! Better than what they had here though, 5" of snow!!! HA!!!

While we were gone I saw in USA today they have started the free dining promotion again.......another twist added this year.....must by a 6 day park pass!!! WHAT CRAP....
Last year we went for 5 nights and only bought a 1 day pass......So, I dont think we will be doing that this year....unless they change the promotion.....but I doubt they will.....(I'm going to check out the "free dining thread" and see what the talk on the street is)

How is everyone doing??? Sorry I havent been here much, I have been helping coach a Lacrosse team, finishing my basement, doing yard work.....the list goes on and on!!!

My best friend is Jewish and last night was Passover at her house. We have been the "token" Christians at her table for the last 15 years

Today I didn't have to work and am starting my clean it out of the house program Can't decide if I want to Ebay or garage sale it. Any thoughts? Just too much stuff!!!

My DDs are not coming home for Easter - sigh........The days of Easter Egg hunts are over - those were the fun times. We never went outside to do this - Chicago weather is too unpredictable - so The Easter Bunny would hide them inside the house.

Reading about your plans for Easter is making me smile. We will be going to my brother's house for dinner.

As far as me, it looks like I'll be spending yet another holiday in the hospital. Had to come in yesterday due to pain and they admitted me. Now they're telling me I'm probably going to need another surgery. This is really starting to frustrate me. My freaking hair has just started growing back from the last one.

Oh, thanks hon. But trust me, you don't wanna be here right now. I've done nothing but puke my guts out all day long. Can't even get up out of bed. I've pretty much slept most of the day. I swear if I have to have another surgery, I'm gonna choke somebody. I've got this concert on Friday night and vacation in June. I don't owe that much on the vacation, but I can't pay for it if I'm not working.

Aww, you're so sweet. I just hate to think that there's people here and all I'm doing is sleeping. They get enough of that Dilaudid into you and you can't keep your eyes open. So it goes like this, get shot of dilaudid through IV, throw up in emesis basin because I can't get out of bed, give basin to nurse, curl up and go to sleep until somebody wakes me up to take my vitals.

I love blowing peeps up in the microwave! Now that they're 50% off, I need to go get some to blow up. LOL

The physician's assistant was just in here talking to me. God he's hot. And I always look so lovely when he comes in to see me.

Anyway, he said I'll probably be having a spinal tap tomorrow. There's nobody around to do them today. And if that shows that I need a revision, they'll do the surgery. He said I probably won't make my concert on Friday.

Now I'm mad!! I spent over $200 on those tickets!! I have to find some way to delay this as long as possible.

Sharky, glad I'm not the only one who likes to blow up peeps!

EVERYONE should try it. Only you have to make sure they are NOT stale. The stale ones will not work.

If you put a peep in the microwave (the chicks are my favorite kind to do it with) it will expand...so it's fun watching chicks get all fat and then you can eat them. Except I don't really eat them. I just like to watch 'em blow up. LOL
