I've cought a few episodes of that and I think it's hilarious! From the last episode I watched I was upset at who she let go. The guy with the blonde and black Mohawk? Can't remember what they called him but he seemed sweet. I hated the tattoo on his eye tho. Bleh!

Good morning all

Called out of work again today


fell asleep about 2am..up at 5am as trent was coughing . So covered him up and gave him some water and went back to bed

Woke up again a few mins after 7



I decided to just stay up

an exhausted

Made a litttle progress with trent

About 8:15 Trent woke up and smiled.

Got him to watcch a full episode of Spongebob, so he was awake for a full 30 mins

Took him to bathroom and gave him a decent amt of water.

He went back to sleep...


He has a bad cough though.

Around 1 or 2 after Steve wakes up(worked last night), going to take him to Well clinic at Walgreens.

Hopefully we can get some meds to get him better

Glad you were able to stay home with Trent and glad he's starting to show more improvement. Hope you can get him some meds!

oh I forgot to say that we get to wear jeans to work every Thursday this summer! Just can't wear tennis shoes like we do on Fridays with our jeans.

It's very exciting! Makes the weekend seem that much closer when I do have to work on Friday. And it gives me a jean day on the weeks where I'm off Fridays. I love jeans!

I was on last night for like 10 minutes and played a word in scrabble (w/ Sharky) By the way, it's STILL your turn. I think we have 5 tiles left. I'm ready to finish that one.

Mike went frogging last night and plans on possibly going again tonight. He was gone for like 5 hours last night and they managed to only catch SIX frogs! That's just miserably sad.

It was his first time so I think he learned some things regardless.

My poor little guy. I know how sick he's been as naturally you've been keeping me posted. That is so cute that he is pointing at his drink in his sleep. He is so funny when he sleeps, one eye open and does things while asleep. I get such a kick out of him. What a shame he is missing all the fun stuff, but the only good part of that is he doesn't actually know it's all going on so he wont' feel disappointed.

I found another casualty of the storm today, sigh. I went to turn on the overhead fan/light in the family room and it wouldn't work, so I reset the switch and tried again it's fried. It's a good one too, big 52 inche, nice wooden blades, antique brass finish and four nice globes. I can't believe this. WE were told it was not because we didn't have surge protectors on some of the items, it was because we had dips in power, down to low voltage, like a brown out and when it tries to run on less power that burns it out. So we couldn't have prevented it anyway and a lot of locals said it happens in this area with the kind of storms we get here a lot. We couldn't have protected the big fan/'light as how can you put an overhead fixture on a surge protector?

Actually, I'm the only one bothered by having the windows down. I hate getting my hair messed up. I work really hard to get it straight and then it gets blown all to heck. We did the no AC thing in Florida before and we survived. But it kind of sucked driving through that hurrican in NC with no AC and the windows down.

What is up with you all sleeping with the TV on? I can't do that at all. I have my air purifier running while I sleep. If I had the light and the noise from the TV, there is no way I'd get any rest.


Oh, I didn't think of things flying out! I believe we've lost quite a few things that way. Joe's car also has a bigger trunk than mine. And since I practically live in my car during the week, it is kind of messy.

Yes I wish we could visit more than once a year too, not to see my MIL, lol, but to see you and Betsy. Then of course that would mean that I could go over to NJ to see the kids and Trent as well so yea I wish it was more than once a year

I forget now whose car as A/C and whose doesn't. Didn't you say that Joe's car has air and a bigger trunk? I still vote for the A/C.

I think when I lay in the dark, that is why I need the TV on to watch and concentrate on that and it keeps my mind from thinking of things I need to do, not having a job, etc. Then I just drift off to sleep. I use the timer because that light from the TV and sound would eventually wake me back up.

I asked Bryan to bring the one old TV we have in the back of the camper in and put it in the bedroom for now. We usuall don't have company camping so we don't really need the extra TV in the camper. If our friends from FL come visit and we go camping we can just throw it back in the camper. Then we don't have to run out and buy a new TV right away.

Hey, I hit 6000 posts!

I probably could pick up reading music again. I actually used to enjoy playing instruments. We played a bunch of Disney songs in orchestra in high school. I was first chair clarinet back then, so I guess I was doing something right. Playing Disney songs was a lot of fun.

Then we'd have to play these horrible songs too. I can remember playing "Celebration" by Kool and the Gang. When I was a drummer, we would get into so much trouble because we would play "Wipeout" when we weren't supposed to. Come to think of it, I was in trouble a LOT when I was in the band. That's the only class I ever got into trouble in. Believe it or not, I never had to sit in a detention in my life.

Yes I am sure you could pick up reading music again, it's probably like falling off a bike, get right back on, lol. You were multi talented girl, drums, clarinet, playing Disney songs. That's awesome, sounds like fun. I love Wipeout, I used to love to dance to that.

Wouldn't that be nice. I think Loren's day may be kind of sad, it's the last day for the school. The district is closing four schools due to budget downfall.

I hope that Loren's Day wasn't too sad and that it went well. that's hard under these circumstances where they are closing four schools and probably cutting teachers. Keeping fingers crossed that it all works out for everyone concerned. These are tough times unfortunately and even schools, which are so important to the future are having problems. Its sad.
