Its all good girl

Glad you were back

Have a good nite

Heading to bed myself in a minute

Being sick takes a lot out of you

Nite nite :cloud9:

Kelly was planning to head to bed before 10 o'clock?!?! Wow, girl, you must have felt really, really bad! I hope you feel better today! :goodvibes

When she goes to bed early you know she's sick as she's one of the two the family night owls. She doesn't get too sick often but when she does, watch out, she REALLY gets sick! :sad1:

Hey Marshay! I was worried too. My older DD caught h1n1 two weeks before our trip and was in bed with a fever for a week despite being on some hard core meds. My younger DD and nephew caught the seasonal flu around the same time. They all got well, but both DW and I caught the seasonal flu while at DLR :headache:

Good luck with the continued toilet training :goodvibes

Hey Sharky! Nobody in our family got shots, too late now at this point since it has already been through the household.

Yes, leapsters/leap frog stuff was very fun when our DDs were younger. Good mix of fun and educational :thumbsup2

agreed Carla

Now there's a classic! "I got a rock."

Howdy PJ! Not a bad Tuesday considering that half of my staff called in sick and I actually worked in the "trenches" today, fielding Help Desk calls. Good to hear someone out there actually has a productive meeting here and there ;)

Hey Cheri and the rest of the "take three'ers" :goodvibes Hope things are shaping up well for halloween and all the parties and festivities that goes with it! :yay:

Apple anyone?
MToTP025.JPG

Wow, what a shame your daughter got the H1N1, that's scary. Thank God she got better. I'm sorry the rest of you ended up with the seasonal flu as well. This is just a bad year for illnesses.

Your costumes are absolutely awesome! You two look wonderful! You look like real Disney characters! Or was that you with one of the real Disney Characters as opposed to your wife. Either way, your costume was great and you both looked great in the picture, no matter who you were with, :lmao:

Aww, poor Trent :hug:This year has been horrible so far with sickness...I hope it does not continue!

Frasier is doing pretty good...we are working on adding another seizure med for him. At this point his seizures are life threatening so I am doing anything I can to try to stop them :sad2:

CARLA  I've missed you too!

We have been sick and Frasier has been having a lot of health issues. Thought we were going to lose him about 2 weeks ago :sad1: Luckily he pulled through and now we are working like crazy to keep him ok.

How are you? What's new???

Betsy, am so glad to hear you are all getting better and that Frasier is going to be okay. Beau is down now, very ill and it scared me so bad. He had one seizure and he never seemed to recover, he quit eating, hardly drank and could hardly walk. I had to pick him up off the couch, to get him outside and then help him lay back down. I took him to the vet today. I kept hoping he'd get better but instead he got worse. When I dropped him off I couldn't help but cry. He was so pathetic last night, he tried to drink then threw it up and then his stomach was going in and out real hard gagging and trying to throw up. I slept on the couch last night and had him on the other end of the couch with me. He got up at 2:15 and wanted to go out so I thought that was a good sign, but he just walked slowly outside and then stood there, then he sat down but that was it, just sat there. I kept calling him and he wouldn't come back in. I had to go out and get him and carry him in. I put him back on the blanket on the couch and he couldn't lay down, he just stood there. So I helped him down and wrapped him in another blanket and he was in the same position this morning. I don't know what I'll do if he has something serious. We are both really upset but Bryan is away and I'm the one seeing him get weaker and weaker so I took it upon myself to make the decsion to take him. I'm praying and praying hard he gets well and some medication will help him, maybe a few days at the vet on an IV to get his strength back. He has the sweetest saddest eyes when he looks at you as though to say "Mommy, why do I feel like this?":sad1:

Oh wow..how scary. AM glad Frasier pulled through

Yeah, this year has been crazy....but I rather be sick now than in Disney

Crossing fingers this was our big sickness for the year

Can you please keep my mom dog in your prayers?

Something is very wrong with him.

She is taking him to vet tomorrow

Wont eat or drink and it has been like a week...only taking a sip of water every once in awhile

I can't wait to see Christmas Carol too!!

They are playing it in IMAX 3d about 20 mins away....:woohoo:

Thanks honey, I dropped Beau off this morning and he was so weak he cuoldn't get out of his cage, so they came and got him out for me, they were so gentle with him and he looked up at them and licked the guy's nose and then put his head down. He's lost some weight and he just shook so hard when they stood him on the scale. I'll be waiting for the call from the vet to tell me what they think is wrong, what they can do and if he need to stay a few days. I'll let you know.

Thank you for the prayers for Beau. I prayed all night for him to make it thru the night so I could get him to the vet and he did, so thank God. I was afraid to look when I got up.

He's in the doctor's hands now and God's as well so hopefully they can pull him through.

If you see Mickey's Christmas Carol coming on, let me know so I can DVR it if I can't watch it. Thanks

:hug::love:

Thanks Carla. Frasier is 8 and I never expected to have to think of losing him this soon. When his Doctor called, I thought she was say he would be able to come home the next day. Instead, she said he may not make it. We were just sick. Luckily after 5 days he regained his health. What a struggle. I didn't really tell many people because some people think it's crazy to be so worried about a dog. Frasier was our first child and it hurts when people think it's strange, ya know!

Oh, I am so happy that you have a Christmas trip planned! I can only imagine how much fun it is to plan and get things ready! I hope this Christmas is awesome for you :goodvibes I'm looking forward to Christmas Carol too!

Oh that is too young for sure. My oldest dog is 6 years old. I just can't imagine. And I don't think you are weird at all. My dogs are like my children and I would be worried sick and upset too.

Thanks girl :goodvibes

Thanks

Heck yea :cool1:

I can just subtract one for me from your ticker

:rotfl: right

Hey Carla...I was changing bed sheets and just got back on. Have a good night and I hope we can chat soon!

:cloud9:

Oh that's okay. Thanks and I hope so too!

QM, just the way you describe Beau makes me so sad and my heart goes out to you both. Please keep us posted as to what the vet says. Will continue to pray

Looking for pictures of worms, bones and eye balls for Halloween Mystery Shoeboxes. I'll paste the pics on the outside of the shoeboxes and then cut a hole in the side.

The kids get to put their hand inside and feel the "worms" (cold spahetti noodles), bones (frozen ginger root) and eye balls (still deciding on hard-boiled egg, extra-large olives or fresh brussels sprouts nuked in the microwave to get them a little mushy).

Ok, will go back and play catch-up on here before Elie awakes.

Well those were definitely creative and very cute! What do you have in your creative brain in the way of Halloween themed crafts that a first, second, or third grader could do? ;)

How about painting pumpkins? We cut out body parts from magazines (nose, eyes, glasses, lips, teeth, ears, hair, hats, etc) and then you put them on the pumpkins with either glue or just paint. They are hysterical.

I'm sitting here crying for you. Please know you are doing the best for your doggie.

great pic Mike! I love your costume!

I SO had other comments but I can't think of anything because I'm thinking about poor Frasier and Beau!!! I absolutely think we can cry over our animals. Don't feel you can't. I hope that they both get better soon. :grouphug:

well I already told Carla and Kelly, but there's an AWESOME sale through Southwest right now!

Cheap flights Dec-Feb(with some dates blacked out)...under 375 miles is only $25! Then $50 for 375 to 549, then $75 for under 1000 miles, and anything 1000 or over will be $100. This is not for every location but there are a lot of airports listed. (Unfortunately for Carla, Atlanta was not one of them :sad2: and her flight would have been $50 ROUND TRIP if she could get Chris to fly!)

Mike and I might schedule a flight to Cleveland for $50 each way and go to Cedar Point in Jan or Feb! We've been wanting to go and you just can't beat that deal!

Oh Karen, my heart was breaking as I was reading this. I have literally walked in your shoes and know how it feels. Frasier has been SO sick that I didn't know what to do. I really hope your Vet is figuring things out and taking good care of Beau. Frasier had to be in for 5 days on a continuous IV. I hope they do the same for Beau. I've been thinking of him all day and hope to hear from you soon!

Oh that is too young for sure. My oldest dog is 6 years old. I just can't imagine. And I don't think you are weird at all. My dogs are like my children and I would be worried sick and upset too.

Yeah, I cannot imagine it myself. I almost had to and I did not handle things so well. That really scares me for the future :sad2:

Aww, thanks Cheri  It's good to see you! I'm a nervous wreck with Frasier...we have to eliminate the seizures which is really difficult. It just seems the effects after the seizures are getting worse each time. Not sure how much the poor guy can take. He is currently pretty close to being himself. I of course am probably driving him crazy because I scrutinize everything he does to make sure he's ok!

I saw this on the news last night! I need to check it out!

Hi Everyone :upsidedow

I've made it back again! One thing after another here with sickness and crazy stuff.

Anything I missed? I feel so bad going missing for so long...life just keeps getting in the darn way :headache:

:grouphug:

Have missed you all!

Hey Betsy! Good to see you and P&PD to you and Frasier :goodvibes

Hey Mustard

Well am glad you guys made it thru your bouts with flu okay

They are actually having a clinic tomorrow night for kids 5-18 years old for H1N1 Shot.

WEll, since Trent is just getting over being sick, HE can't get it :sad2:

Love the pic... That is awesome :thumbsup2

Hi Sharky :-] Yes, we survived. And I heard the same thing locally, finally getting some clinics scheduled for the wee ones. Hope it keeps at least some of them healthy.

Glad Trent can't get it :) Thank you on the pic, it was a fun night :yay:

Ooooo a sneak peak of the Trick Or Treat party pictures!! LOVE it!!! GREAT costume!!!! :goodvibes

Yup, more to come soon in the TR. Just gotta get day 3 done and then we're on to day 4 and the ToT party :woohoo:

I love it Mike! That is too awesome! Did you just happen to have an apple in your pocket?

Missed Charlie Brown! :headache: We had cub scouts. I think I have that on video though... I just like to watch it on TV. Something about watching that way with the commercials is more nostalgic!

Thankyee! And actually Bean snagged the apple for me the night before at Goofy's Kitchen :rotfl2:

I missed Charlie Brown too - ended up tag teaming my work with Roxy's work and didn't get home until after 8pm :headache:

Wow, what a shame your daughter got the H1N1, that's scary. Thank God she got better. I'm sorry the rest of you ended up with the seasonal flu as well. This is just a bad year for illnesses.

Thankyee very much about the costume. And no, that wasn't Roxy there with me - it was a character. She seemed slightly young for the part but she did the voice and attitude perfectly. You should have seen her eyebrow arch when she said my apple was the wrong color :lmao:

AWESOME Picture!!!!

Glad to hear your daughter is over the flu. You guys get better, too!

Thanks much! And yes, good to be feeling better.

great pic Mike! I love your costume!

Thank you Cheri

Well it is after 2pm here which means you lucky east-coasters are done with your work days. Hope y'all have a great evening. I have the dangerous task of attending a staff b-day party. Carrot cake :woohoo: :yay: :woohoo:

But yay for you..Cedar point looks fun :yay:
