Sounds skeery! What's down there?!?! I am picturing trolls!

Aw, man not both of you two as well!

(I started to say "two too" but that looked and sounded funny!)

I hope it's not the flu!

How do you forget you have fastpasses? Let me clarify, how do you go back to a ride that you earlier got FP's for, get in line and wait and then go, "Doh! We have fastpasses!" :confused3 I can think of 3 words: Here's your sign. :rotfl2:

The underground is like a big shopping mall all underground, and there are lots of kiosks and all and it was cool and for the most part I felt safe but in certain areas there were those thug types hanging out down there and it got scary. Doubt I would do it again.

I still haven't fully gotten a cold or got rid of that feeling. I guess I'll haved to wait and see if it goes away or turns into a full blown cold.

Really, here's your sign and what else do they say, "You just can't fix stupid!":rotfl2:

A quick vent before I catch up...the doctor was just in here and he's going to put ANOTHER stitch in my back. With no anesthetic yet again. Do these people realize how freaking painful that is? I mean, it is already sensitive and then they go and put more stitches on top of other stitches and don't even give me a shot of lidocaine to numb it up. I so know why there is such a high suicide rate among people who have this disease. I am so sick of being poked.:mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad:

Aww Nikki I am so sorry. Did they do a blood patch on you? They still haven't done one on my niece. I can't believe they gave you stitches where you were so sore without any type of local anethestetic (sp?). What is wrong with those people, they could care less how much they hurt you. I hope at least you are starting to feel a little better. I wish I could do something to help.

That is so cute. And yes, you are old.:rotfl:

They won't give it to me because apparently it causes seizures if it is mixed with cerebrospinal fluid. This doctor did give me a little smidge of it, so it wasn't AS bad as it was last night without anything.

They're supposed to give me ambien to help me sleep tonight. I dunno, I took it before and it did nothing for me. But I haven't slept in three days. I'm talking no sleep at all. Feel like I'm losing my mind.

And I'm REALLY mad at Joe. I'll have to vent about that later cause I'm just too mad at him and don't even want to think about it right now.

Well I see it is not only me you are mean to, you are also mean to Michele, us old folks take offense to that, LOL.

Maybe on no sleep and ambien you will sleep and maybe they are giving you a higher dosage of ambien that will knock you out. If you can't sleep get on FB I'm sure Kelly will be there :lmao::lmao::lmao:

Oh boy do we all have to come up there and take care of Joe? You can vent about him when you are feeling better. We'll all be waiting and hen we'll come beat him up! :thumbsup2

I am so sick of being poked.

Does proactiv actually work?

It does for me and it did for Jamie.... but it didn't work for Carla. I think it's just like any other product... it's not going to work for everyone.

Are you freaking kidding me? Why!?!?* I'd go absolutely postal if I could not sleep. I've got too much to worry about to not get some reprieve from it while I am konked out. I really hope the ambien worked!

*edit... I know why now.

Ruh-ro. What did that man do now? :sad2:

Well, Evan is still home. I did finally take him to the doctor yesterday morning though. I was worried he was getting dehydrated.... I was right. They did a rapid flu test and it came back negative. Um, okay?!? Anyway, they gave him some phenergan to help with the nausea and he is on the road to recovery now... finally.

Cub scouts went fine. It was really more of a parent meeting again and I felt bad for making Owen sit through it. We didn't do any kid stuff at all.... it was more information for adults. We have our first real kid meeting in a couple weeks. I got another assistant leader (in addition to Tomato!)! He's a marine. Cool dude. :cool2: I think before long he and Tomato will be kicking me to the curb.

Kacy was like "Paisley?" isn't that a type of material?

:rotfl2:

:lmao: okay now I don't feel so bad about thinking the Hippie thing.

I think a trip through Death Valley is awesome. There are some pretty sites like painters pallet in Death Valley and also there is a placed called Red Rock or something similar will have to find out as I forget, but it has beautiful red mountains and there is an old Wild West town out there and they put on shows like it is actually back in the western days. When we got there I got chosen to be the Judge and I told them to hang the guy, LOL. It was fun. Then we went to Baker California to see the worlds largest working thermometer and then took the drive through Death Valley just be sure to fill your car up with gas before you get to Baker or you'll get ripped off knowing you need gas to get through there. You should have some water in the car too as it gets darn hot there! But there are cool things in the desert to see. I loved it.

I think staying on the strip is the best for a first timer, you want to see it all. YOu can go up to the casino with the roller coaster on the top, I forget what it is called now but it's the other end of the strip heading towards fremont Street. My sister is going out to Vegas in two weeks, they go every year.

Oh that sounds great! Thanks again for the tips. I'm so wanting to ride the coaster on top of the hotel. What fun!!! Did you ride it? And if so, do you realize you're on top of a hotel during the ride or does it just seem like a regular coaster? I wonder how much it costs.

Agreed.

Glad you took him to the Dr to take care of the dehydration. And glad they gave him some meds to speed up recovery. Glad he is feeling a bit better. :goodvibes

Bummer that the Cub Scouts thing was more stuff for the parents. Glad to hear you got another leader. I'm sure you won't mind being kicked to the curb.:laughing:

Yeah, my thought was wow people name their kids the oddest things.

I am sure that she will be devastated to be kicked to the curb.:rotfl:

My sister has this same problem in the area where she lives. She talked to a cop from the area and he said to go talk to the people before actually calling animal control. I'm not sure what good that would do since they'll know you are the one who calls eventually, when it (most likely) doesn't stop. I don't think she did that though. She just called animal control. I'm not sure if they've done anything about it yet. But this is D.C. area we're talking about. They don't exactly have the best police force there, or the best animal control, I'm sure.

Their stupidity is your gain. Sometimes its good that there's so many stupid people in the world. I'm pretty sure all those stupid people were from Pennsylvania.

Ha!:rotfl: You crack me up.

Seriously? What is up with that? Remember how long we waited for RnRC last year? Why is it that when I go, the lines are always longer? I have no luck with that stuff.

I hate giant painful zits! Sorry. Seems like a lot of us get those.

:lmao: Paisley? Are her parents hippies?

That is so cute. And yes, you are old.:rotfl:

Haha! You're such an instigator!

Well, I am glad it was not as bad

We will be ready whenever u are ready to vent

I hope ambien worked for you

Yay for possibly be kicked to the curb

It's a little noisy here as this is going on right next to our neighborhood. There are bikes everywhere! Very cool. :cool2:

Thunder Beach

Oh wow..I bet

But I bet the boys are loving it :thumbsup2

Everywhere we go there are motorcycles! The road that leads into the main park where all of this is happening also leads into the back of my neighborhood... which is where we happen to live.

There is a constant hum of revving engines. I was worried it would irritate me but it doesn't. It drowns out the DOG across the street! :rotfl2:

Well, that is a good thing. My thought is what about tonight at bedtime? That ought to be real fun.

Okay I have a story for you all. Imagine my delight as I get my mail from the mailman today and realize that I have a Maxim magazine in my mail. I was like who on earth has a subscription to Maxim, so I look at it and I realize that it is addressed to me.:scared1: I was shocked to say the least that I might have a subscription to this magazine, on it is this note telling me that the magazine Blender which is a rock music magazine has folded and my remainder of my subscription will be Maxim.

:rotfl:
