oh man I don't blame you there. That's why I don't drive around Atlanta by myself. I'm so scared of winding up in the wrong neck of the woods alone.

The last time I was in Atlanta we walked around downtown and then we went in the underground. I have to say that was when I started to get a little nervous!!! I don't think I'd like to do that again!

Abby went back to school today! Evan is home though. His temp was 102.5 this morning! He's kept some jello down though and he just ate a piece of toast and is drinking some gingerale. We're still waiting to see how that goes.

Eh, I'm alright... you can say Poor Love when I come down with it! :sad2:

I am guessing it's the flu but he doesn't have all the symptoms.... he has a fever, a headache, is tired and puking. No chills, body aches or diarrhea. Who knows. :confused3 I just can't decide if I should take him to the doc or not.

Or Detroit!!! :scared1: Been there, done that, never again.

I'm sorry that now that Abby is better, Evan is sick. I sure hope you don't get it!

I have heard so many bad things about Detroit I don't think I'd even drive through it!!! :scared1:

I feel like I am getting a sore throat. I think I'm going to check Facebook real quick and take something and go to bed. Goodnight all.

I need some opinions (like I need to officially request them, right?)

Anyway, you know we are living in a new place. It's been what, 6 weeks?

Well, there is a dog across the street that is left outside ALL day EVERY day and he barks constantly. I am not exaggerating either... he barks all the freaking time. This morning he was at it when I got up at 6:30!

Now there are what sounds like maybe 2 other dogs outside as well and they are all barking. It's been going on for over an hour.

I just would not allow my dog to do that! And I don't leave my dog outside when I am not home for this very reason... not to mention it gets ridiculously hot here!

I have seriously had enough.

Here is where I'd like opinions.

Would you call the police on someone whose dog is constantly barking?

I feel bad because it isn't an emergency but what else could I do?

I'm new to the neighborhood and I don't want to make an enemy already but this dog is driving me crazy! :crazy2:

I'm so glad that the floods are starting to recede but feel so bad for everyone who lost so much in the floods. That is so sad. I am happy though that you didn't get affected in that way.

Your trip out west sounds great, you want to do a lot of awesome stuff. Maybe you'll get picked to be on the stage at the Price is Right Taping and win something, wouldn't that be awesome?

There are a ton of good hotels in Vegas. We love the Palace Station but it is off the strip, you'd be okay as you are going to be driving out there but you may prefer to park the car and be right in the middle of it all. I think you'd like NY NY hotel, that is a nice one and the Excalibur is nice, MGM and that one that is a pyramid, I'm drawing a blank on the name. The Paris is really nice. There are so many new ones since the last time I was there so you may have been looking at tons of others that you'd prefer. Make sure you go up to Fremont Street one night for the light show. That is the old section where all the old casinos are, the Golden Nugget and that type, it's cool up there. As you drive from CA to Vegas you can stop in Baker, CA, the worlds largest working thermometer is there and it is the Gateway to Death Valley. You should take a drive through Death Valley, the desert is awesome! I can't think of anything else right now to tell you about out there. :confused3

Thanks Karen. :goodvibes

I'm SO excited about it! I'm planning it over planning my December trip now. :rotfl:That's bad, isn't it? Anyways, yeah, we are really hoping one of us gets chosen for the Price Is Right. I'm hoping it's Chris. He's so much better at that stuff than me. I'll have to make shirts that make us stand out. And thanks for the tips on the hotels. I know we for sure want to stay on the strip and use the Monorail. I was actually looking into the MGM. I would LOVE to stay at the Palms but it is just so expensive. I looked at the Real World Suite (just out of curiosity) and it is $5,000 a NIGHT!!! :scared1: And that's not even the most expensive themed suite they have. Now I'm wondering that if there's no one staying in the Real World Suite while we're there if they will let us tour it. I just want to be where they taped the show. I've never heard of Death Valley before. See, this is why I need a UG for Cali and Vegas!! I want to know all of our options as far as things to do out there!! Thanks for the tips QM! I'll need all the help I can get planning this trip. Anything other than Disney is so foreign to me.

Wow you went to Underground!? I've lived here for 17 or 18 years and I still have yet to go there. I don't recommend anyone going there.

I feel like I am getting a sore throat. I think I'm going to check Facebook real quick and take something and go to bed. Goodnight all.

Awww sorry you think you are getting sick. I believe I am too actually. Hope we both feel better soon!!

I would call animal control. I don't let any of my dogs bark for any length of time unless I am playing with them. And I don't leave my dogs outside longer than they need to be out there to potty (again, unless I am playing with them) so I think it is very cruel for anyone to leave their dog outside like that. Especially in Florida. And especially since they are disturbing the peace. Ugh! I would be pissed too. The cops will probably just tell you to call Animal Control so that is what I recommend you do first. Hopefully they will be able to do something for you. And tell them you would rather them not come to your house first or tell the dog owners who called so they won't hate you. And even if they do get ticked off at you, you are already ticked off at them so what does it really matter? Hope you can get the problem resolved.

oh no...not you too! I hope you have some Airborne and/or Zycam

I would go throw the dog a bone. Actually, I think what Carla said about calling Animal Control would be the best thing at this point. Do you know if anyone is home? (I'd have to assume they aren't, considering if they were the barking would also be driving THEM crazy especially if you can hear it from your house)

Good Morning all.:hippie:

Love, I have to agree with calling animal control, it isn't healthy to leave the dogs outside. Did they leave water at least out there for them?

I almost hope that they have the dogs chained up out there. That's for sure against the law and they won't only get a ticket for that but they might even run the risk of having the dog(s) taken away.

I already wrote about stupid person #1 from our trip in Kelly's PTR (Mr. Potato head guy)

I thought I'd tell the story about stupid person (couple) #2.

Mike and I were headed for the Tower of Terror standby line. The wait time was only 10 minutes and we had just gotten a RnRc FP so couldn't get one for ToT, but 10 minutes is great so who cares right? Well a couple was in front of us. They were stopped by the CM at the line entry who said "here, you can have these fastpasses, someone came through and forgot they had them". (They were for about 5-10 minutes from now) Well, the guy wouldn't take them out of the CM's hands. He was all confused or something. Then he was like "no thank you". And the CM, confused as can be, tried to just make the guy take them, when I kinda piped up and started to say "we'll take them" -- So the CM said "okay, she wants em" And I looked like "uhh you don't want them? Okay, we'll take them" :rotfl2:

Actually I would say this is multi-faceted stupidity because the people who GAVE THE CM the fastpasses must have been out of their minds. Did they not want to ride again? You never know when the wait-time will increase.

The wait actually ended up being less than 10 minutes, so we enjoyed one trip on it, and then another later on compliments of a bunch of stupid people. :lmao:

:lmao::lmao: it's amazing what ppl will do at WDW when they have no clue how things work there. :yay: for you for getting 2 fast rides on ToT!!

Sounds skeery! What's down there?!?! I am picturing trolls!

Awww sorry you think you are getting sick. I believe I am too actually. Hope we both feel better soon!!

Aw, man not both of you two as well!

(I started to say "two too" but that looked and sounded funny!)

I hope it's not the flu!

Thanks Carla. I don't think I've ever had to call the police on anybody so I had no idea if this was anything I even *could* do, kwim? :confused3 I just know that it is ridiculous and I cannot be the only one bothered by it.

Knick knack paddywhack!

I don't think they are home. My houses faces the side of their backyard because they live on the corner of my street and another street. Does that make sense? Anyway, I can't see the front of the house so I don't ever know if someone is there or not. But I'm with you, how in the world could they stand listening to their dog bark like that all day?

Good Morning all.:hippie:

Love, I have to agree with calling animal control, it isn't healthy to leave the dogs outside. Did they leave water at least out there for them?

Morning Chele!

I can't tell if it has water. They have a privacy fence so I can't actually see the dog. When we walk by to go to the pool or whatever we can tell it's a basset hound when he nears the fence to bark at us! But that is all I know.

I thought I'd tell the story about stupid person (couple) #2.

How do you forget you have fastpasses? Let me clarify, how do you go back to a ride that you earlier got FP's for, get in line and wait and then go, "Doh! We have fastpasses!" :confused3 I can think of 3 words: Here's your sign. :rotfl2:

well, the fastpasses weren't ready yet. So they couldn't have used them whenever it was they got in line. But they certainly could have used them to repeat ride!

Also, I was astonished at the number of people hanging out around the ledge (most sitting on that ledge) around RnRc and ToT....not doing anything, so I assumed they were waiting on their FP time. However, the lines were only 10-20 minutes many of the times I saw these people standing there. So they could have gotten in the Standby line, rode once, and then by the time they got out it probably would be time for FP's and they could ride again! Why waste your time sitting around at WDW???? :confused3:scared1:

did I mention I have this GIGANTIC zit on my chin that appears to be trying to eat my face? I've never seen one so large in my life. It HURTS

:lmao: They may as well be trolls. There's "clubs" and bars down there and a few shops too but a lot of drug dealers hide down there and thieves so it's scary and dangerous.

Two too :lmao::lmao: Thanks girl! I don't think it's the flu. I don't have a fever or any other symptoms. Just sneezing and coughing a lot so it's probably just a head cold which I'm pretty prone to. I haven't had the flu since the year my sister passed away in 1995. *knock on wood* How is Evan today?

Well, don't ever be afraid to call the cops or animal control. They are there to help you! I used to be so afraid to "bother" them before Chris started doing what he does but now I realize that they get paid to do that and most of them enjoy the job and enjoy helping ppl no matter what the issue is. So I hope you do call animal control. Keep us updated!

:lmao: good I'm not the only one that sung that when seeing Cheri's post

awww sorry you still have that zit girl :( but as you know I can feel your pain. Those zits are the worst. I hope it surfaces soon for you. Maybe if you put some rubbing alcohol on it it will help it surface faster.

Well everybody, I am officially old. My "baby" Loren has his first girlfriend. At leas the first I have known about. Everyday when I pick him up from school he and Paisley hug each other when they say goodbye. :scared1:
