well I thought I mentioned this here but I only said it on FB. I have a sore throat and swollen glands (well really just one gland) so I'm not looking forward to the rest of this week. I have chloraseptic for now...hopefully this won't progress since I took some airborne last night.

okay that fridge is gorgeous! Just what I want! My heart goes thump, thump LOL :rotfl: I was about to say, I hope you didn't pay THAT much. Do you mind me asking what price you got it for and where? (you can PM me if you want...or you don't have to tell me at all)

No, I don't mind telling you. :goodvibes We bought it at Home Depot. It was marked at $2800 w/ 10% off. Tomato asked if they could do any better on price so the sales dude said sometimes when they go to ring them up they are less. I guess with a price match adjustment to Sear's it was around $2500 plus the 10% off! So that got it down to about $2250 and we put the gift card toward it. So we got it for $1250 OOP. :thumbsup2

They did have one almost exactly the same but slightly smaller for about 600 less but we decided with 2 rapidly growing boys we might regret not having the extra space later.

One thing you might want to consider doing is going in periodically to Home Depot (if you have one) and see what floor samples they are selling. They sell them when a new model comes in but you have to be able to get it home yourself... they won't deliver them and they won't haul away your old one like they do with "new" ones. We saw one at Home Depot that was $1000 off the original price a couple weeks ago but it was a little smaller than we wanted (plus we didn't have anywhere to store it).

Hey guys I got a text from LeeLee. There may be a transplant available for Shannon and she asked that everyone say a prayer.

I was so excited to read this and then so very sad that it wasn't a match. Here's to hoping and praying that the trip to Disney will bring some extra special magic in the form of a match when they get home!! :littleangel:

And now I'm all caught up! :woohoo:

Me too! Whew!

Aw, feel better!

Okay.... now that I am all caught up I want to turn the focus to ME! We are planning on joining UJ and my sister at the world for their December trip! Which means I may get to meet Kelly and Carla too! YAY! :yay:

We are planning to drive over after the kids get out of school Thursday, 12/3 and stay until Monday. I'm trying to figure out which is the best way to go ~ free dining? buy AP's? buy seasonal passes? can we get free dining if we have AP's? I just want to get the best deal possible! So my question is this: if I call WDW will the CM help me figure out how to get the best deal? Or should I contact that TA at Dreams that I worked with when we had that cruise booked? What do you all think? :confused3

Okay... I'm outta here for now. We're going to the pool! See ya later!

that is absolutely the coolest thing....who'd have thought we'd have that in common?! SOOO awesome! We need to get together and puppeteer for the rest of the girls and UJ. :rotfl:

Cheri & Carla,
You wont believe this!!!! I was a puppeteer at a church during my first marriage......no joke!!!! I bet Love doesnt even know that about me...
I did it for about a year......we had a 2 tier stage and about 10 diff puppets.......we did it for Sunday schools and youth groups....

You were talking about Jeff Dunham...he is awesome.....he does the dead terrorist puppet....I saw him perform with that puppet for 2nd or 3rd time doing him on stage...he was using his notes on stage....you can see all of his skits on youtube......Walter (old man), Peanut (his very first puppet), Jalepeno on a stick, Sweeeeet Daddy D, dead terrorist etc.
If you ever get the chance go see him.......

WooHoo SO excited to hear that!! I really hope it works out and that we can meet you guys!! :woohoo::woohoo: I just love that so many of us end up going to WDW around the same time!

Considering the seasonal AP's are SO cheap for FL residents I would go that route. But, then you would still have to buy at least one - one day ticket to get the free dining (I think....you might have to talk to a Disney CM about that). Personally I like to plan all my own stuff and book all my ADR's myself so I wouldn't use a TA but since you are so busy with moving and everything right now that might be the best/easiest most stress free way to do it for you.

Woohoo another puppeteer!!! :woohoo::woohoo: Who knew there were so many of us!? I think that's just awesome! :thumbsup2 Growing up in the church I always loved the puppet skits the best which is why I wanted to learn to do it myself. The kids love it so much it seems :thumbsup2

Yeah sucks.

I was up for about 2 hours, and tried get back to sleep for an hour and then just gave up. :headache:

Hey QM! As if we could forget you  DD did fine her first day. She is enjoying her new class and now she is riding the bus! Growing up too fast.

I will continue to pray for LeeLee and her family.

I can't see it?

My DS had his evaluation yesterday and walked in like he owned the place. I think he will do fine.

It's going to be a big adjustment for Trent. I hope he does ok. It's got to be hard adjusting your inner clock like that. Hopefully Mom will be ok too ;)

No we haven't made plans yet.

Crossing my fingers for you!

Sounds like DS is going to do awesome :thumbsup2

Thanks girl..I hope so, too...hopeufully just take a week to get us both adjusted :goodvibes

Oh I totally understand. It suonds though like you have been given a lot of information should the job become permanent. I can't see you having a problem taking time off and making it up an hour here and there if you do get hired. They seem like really nice people. That is the same as McKesson when I was there, they were flexible, the boss was nice and I liked the job and though I was a temp they treated me like permanent employee!

These days corporate is tough because of the economy. So just hang in there, ask your boss from time to time but don't push it right now as you want to keep your job.:thumbsup2

Thanks mom

will do :goodvibes

It really is

Thanks girl. Yeah it's the right thing to do. It was a little depressing so I think we will bring a board game or a movie with us this Friday. Don't want everyone to focus on her lung cancer ever week. That would get old for his grandmother for sure!

And yes responsibility does suck!!

Now that is just awesome!! They are so cute! You have got to post pictures of them for us to see :lovestruc

and :yay: for the new fridge!! I'm so jealous! Very nice choice girl!

Thanks love. Just trying to get caught back up. Just about there now

Great ideas on board games. Make it a fun weekly thing...dinner and games
maybe one week..dinner and a movie. does she have a dVd player?

I'm still praying about your job for you. I wish they would quit stringing you along already!

oooo I can see it now! :thumbsup2

Thanks girl. I apprciate it :goodvibes

You go girl :cool1:

Hey Love!!!

So excited.

I would say probaly FL AP would be the way to go.

To get free dining, u should jsut need to buy a one day park ticket.

I prefer doing it myself as I hate not being in control

If you get a really good CM on phone, they will figure out best deal for you

If you get a crappy one, just tell them u have to go and will call back

Wait 5 mins so they thave time to clear your info out of computer and call back again til u get a good one :thumbsup2

Once hours are released, we could plan some sort of meet

We were thinking that Friday night, the 4th would be good. :thumbsup2

We could meet at Pop Century at Hippy Dippy Pool..near the bar :woohoo:

Maybe like 10pm?? Would that be too late?

You know myself and my family are night owls, so anytime is good for us at night..

Hours should come out next month...once we all figure out our plans and such...

we can figure out meet for sure...:goodvibes

Ugh was having so much trouble getting online, had to restart three times and still could not get on. Finally Bryan comes over and he can get on???? He says I have a bad electronic karma, lol.

You got that right cause I'll never let any of you forget me, hahahaha!

I'm glad that DD is doing well going to school and is now riding the school bus. I think she's going to be just fine.

Sounds like DS will be fine too if he walked in there like he owned the place, lol, I would loved to have seen that. He's so cute, they both are!

I too hope Trent makes out okay and adjusts to the time change as well as Mommy, she will take some serious adjustments too, :rotfl2:

So you and Cheri haven't scheduled anything yet, you two need to get on the ball, lol.

You go girl :cool1:

I'm jealous! Wah! I wanna go. Of course, I'm going on Sept 21 to the 24th for a short trip, but I never got to meet Love or UJ and I want to.

There better be a ton of pictures so at least I can feel like I've been there!

Aww Cheri, I'm sorry you dont' feel well. I do hope the airborne helps knock it out of you. Are you going to try to finish the week out at work?

No, I don't mind telling you. :goodvibes We bought it at Home Depot. It was marked at $2800 w/ 10% off. That's great Love that you are going to go on down to Disney and meet up with your sister and UJ and in the process should get to meet Carla and Kelly! I would suggest you contact Kelly, she knows more about deals andthe best way to do things than anyone, probably better than the CMs.

Cheri & Carla,
You wont believe this!!!! I was a puppeteer at a church during my first marriage......no joke!!!! I bet Love doesnt even know that about me...

You were a puppeteer, that's awesome UJ! You are multi talented!

I've seen the Jeff Dunham videos on uTube but have never seen him in person. I would love to go to a good comedy show live sometime.

well, at least he got u online :thumbsup2:thumbsup2

U have been to disney a ton more times than me now with your AP :laughing:

Don't worry...I will take plenty of pics :thumbsup2

Yes imagine me, bad karma, :littleangel:

I knoq I've been to Disney a lot with my AP, but you got to go almost every day when you lived there, so you are probably still ahead and that is just wrong, :lmao::lmao::lmao:

oh I also used to be a Puppeteer for church, which I miss. I once had hoped of working for Sesame Street one day. I still think about it sometimes.

I didn't know you were a puppeteer. That is so nice. You should do it again, why did you stop?

You can do it if you want to work on Sesame Street, go for it, you can do anything you put your mind to!:thumbsup2
