Wow ! I remember doing that when I was a teenager. Except we were shrimping on a boat. Talk about PAINFUL.

How old is your son again? If he is past 12 --- forget about it

First I painted the ceiling (I'm not crazy about the way it came out) -

Then I applied drywall primer -

Recruited some help --

OOps ... forgot to feed the kids...

There is an metallic overlay I still have to apply. It should lighten the color up a lot.

So we are seeing the lawyer again tomorrow about the contractor. He never responded to the letter our lawyer sent him, so now we have to file a lawsuit. I'm SO not happy about this, but there's nothing else we can do if we want him to pay for what he did. And he certainly deserves to pay!

Also, if you remember what I said yesterday, the nurse at the dr's office had said she'd leave the orders for a urine sample(Quest lab) at the front of the building (This is a huge clinic with a receptionist's desk in the very front, and different dr's offices each with their own waiting rooms, etc. in the back.)

Well, I went there at lunchtime. I grabbed the paper from the lady at the front desk of the building, and I asked if I’d be able to do the test THERE in the lab. She called the lab for me and the lady at the lab said she wanted to see my paperwork, so I brought it and then she said I could do it there after she verified in her little book. So I did it and now just waiting game. She said I should call the dr. in a few hours if I don’t hear from them first.

Sorry he didn't respond to your Lawyer's letter Cheri, that sucks. I hope its a quick settlement when he finds out you've filed a lawsuit and he'll just want it overwith. You know what else I would do, would be send a letter to the BBB of Louisiana and copy that contractor on the letter. That goes against their reputation if someone calls the BBB to check on the reputation of someone before they hire them! I'd smear their name anywhere I could and make sure they know it!

Glad they tested you right there, now at least you shouldn't have to wait long. Who knows, you may know by now but I wasn't on last night so am trying to catch up some before anyone comes into work.

You are way to energetic. You make me tired reading about all you do!!!! I wish you were here last night, we had a huge brown spider in the bathroom. Thank God I missed it, my company found it while she was sitting on the royal throne and she looked down and there it sat looking at her! I'd have freaked, probably jumped up and ended up making a mess all over myself instead of in the throne! She smashed it with my heavy metal trash can so I have no idea what kind it was but am scared to death thinking it had been a brown recluse. I figure if you'll kill snakes you would kill my big ugly spiders too.
