I'm not a DVC member so,
Sorry if this is a silly question here on your community board -
but I am interested in OKW or Poly for 1st wk of June - 5-7 nights.

Are rates always less expensive when renting points through a dvc member vs reservations through a travel agent?
(realize that first I need to find a dvc member with enough points to rent )

I would say you would save half the money off the rack rate. i do have 900 points for rent and would like to help If I can. my phone number is 352-817-7707 and I have been selling points for 10.00 for years. i have a 100% positive feed back rating with e-bay for 8 years and do take pay-pal as well. if I can help please call or e-mail me at kavx0644@aol.com thanks mike

The Polynesian could be as expensive or more using points. Use points for DVC resorts. However, June availability is slim.

What about the VWL Dec 7-14th? I hear it is booked..is this true? and, just for a point of reference, how many points would that date for 7 night cost?

As you can prob tell, I am new at this!

Definitely use POINTS for the DVC RESORTS and cash for Disney HOTELS.
