I am looking for an inexpensive place on-line to buy my daughter a few gymnastics leotards. I need some help. I have checked ebay and have a few that I am watching, but I would rather buy from a store in case the size is wrong.

Thanks!

Target has some that would work for practices unless you need something specific.

I always used this place. http://www.look-it.com/Leotards4.html I found these were awesome. I just threw them in the wash machine on cold, dried them in the dryer, and they still look brand new after a year of wear. I can sell them on ebay for almost as much as I pay. Don't really understand that as I even link the page so they can see the original price. :confused3 Also found customer service to be awesome. No don't have any professional relationship; just a satisfied customer.

Anyway, dd doesn't do gymnastics anymore. She has about 8-10 that she only wore a few times each. What size is your dd? Maybe I have some that will fit her. I haven't gotten around to putting them up on ebay. They have been laying around so I need to declutter....LOL.

WalMart or JC Penny's. I paid less than $10 each for my dd's. Make sure she trys them on before you buy. Some are cut really "wierd" in the leg. You want her to be comfortable.

I got mine from Target as well. Toys R Us had some of the Princess kind that DDs liked as well.

How old is your daughter? I wouldn't spend more than $10.00 for a small child and the ones from Target and Penneys are fine. As they get older it starts to cost more.

We were always lucky with dance, they had to wear solid black.

I'm so glad you posted. I will have to check out the link in this thread too.

I have a gymnast and am having a hard time finding her a leotard.

Unfortunately, she has outgrown the sizes they carry at Kohl's/Target (plus several other stores we stopped at along the way on a quest to find one recently). The one she has for class is too small. She's on a competitive team and usually they have leotard sales at the meets but we never bought them because we always just went to the stores. Their season doesn't start until January so I'm stuck now. As I *really* don't think she can keep squeezing into her leotard until January (she doesn't listen to me when I tell her to stop growing as a way to make her clothes fit longer :lmao: )

My daughter was a gymnast and has a few extra Child Larges and Extra Large and Adult Extra Small GK and Satara leos if anyone is interested, PM me. They are costly. We usually bought GK wholesale from the gym or else at the meets. My 22 month old just started classes and I got her a velvet GK for six bucks at a child consignment shop.

When I bought online I liked www.snowleotards.com and www.kbeeleos.com.
We liked both of those, and the quality of GK was wonderful, the price was just a little higher. Hope this helps.

OP here ..... the ones that she has just out grown are smalls. She is wearing a size 6 or 6x right now in regular clothing. I am confused about the sizing because some sites say the next step up would be an intermediate while others say it would be a medium.

The ones that she has now are biketards or unitards. She has never worn the "typical" leotards, but she wants to try. Their gym gets really hot during the summer so I definitely want her to be as cool as she can be.

If you have a Danskin outlet nearby they have great sales! You can also get an additional discount by mentioning the dance/gym studio your dd attends. I haven't ordered online from them before, but you might want to check out sales there as well.

Cheap practice leos here.

DD is 3, and I buy her the CHILDREN'S GRABBAG SPECIAL, which is 3 Assorted Short-Sleeve, Camisole, or Tank (Slightly Irregular) Leotards. They're Cotton/Lycra or Nylon Lycra mix, so they're not suitable for anything other than practice, but they ARE really well made and super cheap at 3 for $10!! They also have some other cute ones if your size is sold out.

I forgot all about the Danskin outlet that we have in Rehobeth Beach. Took a quick drive up and got 3 leotards for $40. The pink shiny one that my dd is modeling and the teal sparkly one were 40% off of $25 and the the pink cami leotard was 60% off of $25. I think I made out pretty good.

I kept looking on Ebay and people were paying $30 for used leotards! I just couldn't do that.
