Universal Area and Universal City Walk are the ones to focus your attention on - but they have the most accurate menus. For inpark menus you can look at http://allears.net/uni/menu/menus.htm but it doesn't have up to date info.
Good Luck!
Universal has everything in CityWalk from Burger King to Emerils.
Well under a $100 and thats with all table service meals and drinks.Tchoup Chop is gonna be pricey tho,but very good food from what I've heard.
We are a family of four. The kids are bigger eaters then us and we budget $120 a day and never go over that no matter how hard we try.But if we include the beer I like to drink,we may go over that....
Are the food costs comparable to DW? We tend to think 5-8 for CS breakfast (muffin/juice), 10-15 for CS lunch/dinner (sandwich, fries, drink) and roughly 25-30 with tip pp for a basic TS (sandwich style) or around 50pp with tip pp for a higher end (pasta/beef style).
Why not try the Meal Deal? For 20-30 bucks a day you can have all you want at six different locations across both parks. If you buy the Meal Deal in advance you can lock in your price and have a majority of your food already taken care of before you go.
I would get the meal deal but it's so limited in that all seems to be are hot dog, fries and burgers. am i wrong? When we go out to eat on vacation we try to avoid those in large quantities.

No...you're right...it's standard theme park fare. There are plenty of really good restaurants in the parks to try w/o the meal deal. Mythos, Thunder Falls Terrace and Finnegan's leap to mind.
Where do most eat though? Does it make since to leave the park and eat at a resort or is there enough diversity to stay at the park everyday for lunch.
