For early reservation, how early can you get in park?

If we have and 8:40a dining res in Hollywood Studios and the park opens at 9a, how early will they let us in the park?

For example, would we be allowed to enter at 8a? Or do they only allow you to enter so many minutes before the reservation time?

Our hope is to get in at 8a and get signed up for Jedi training before our 8:40a reservation.

Also, how late can you be fore your reservation? Could we arrive 10 minutes late and be okay?

I've usually been able to get in 15-20 mins prior to my ADR. I'm not sure they would let you in 40 mins prior to ADR time. As far as being late, I think you're good up to about 15 mins past your ADR time.

Never had an adr later then 830. It seems that the 800 to 830s are all let in just before 8am

I could be mistaken since i don't do Jedi training, but I don't think they let you start signing up before the park opens but I'm sure someone with more insight will come along.

As far as wanting to sign up before park opening I don't think will happen because there will probably be no one there to sign you up. And just like you can't catch a ride before your ADR (before park opening) I think the same applies to events.

When I went last year, they had ropes set up, and you could not get past Hollywood & Vine. They also held us there after we finished eating unitl park opening. (We did get a jump start on the crowd since they "released" us as soon as they saw people coming up the street.

This thread seems to indicate that JTA signups may be available before park open, although it is not guaranteed.
