For cast members at Kilimanjaro Safaris...

This is a question for people who work at the Kilimanjaro Safaris or have worked there. How do you like it? Pros/cons? How's the driving while talking? I'm just curious; I'd love to work there because I LOVE animals. I'd also like to get involved with the animals there even though that's highly unlikely (I'm a Disney College Programmer with animal experience).

I've never worked there but my boyfriend did his college program on KS and then went seasonal. He absolutely loves it. He says the driving isn't tough. They make sure you're really comfortable driving it around before they let you drive people. He was really overwhelmed with all the facts to memorize and it took him awhile to get comfortable with driving and talking and looking for new animals and watching his guests all at the same time. But within about 2 weeks, he was super comfortable and could concentrate on just making his safari exactly how he wanted it to be. He said the downsides were that sometimes you were sore from driving all day and that it got really, really hot from the Florida heat plus the heat coming off the engine of the truck.

Some of my really good friends worked at this attraction.. including my roommate! They LOVED it!! Most of them went seasonal.. but their location was like a huge CP family. I'm applying for another CP and I'm hoping to get a speaking role like this
