Any suggestion on rooms? Is there a building or area you would recommend requesting to stay in?

The way they desined the towers they are all very convenient. Tower 1 is closet to the parks if you walk and Tower 3 is closest to the boat launch. Floor three is nice because it's lobby level. With the lower floors, if you have a standard room you won't have to view the highway. I don't know what kind of room you have booked but I would request a pool view, if you didn't book that just ask when you get there.

We stayed in 3232 and 3234. We had a good view of the pool area. If you like seeing the pool then I would try a room over maybe 3230--the view from 3232 was partially obstructed.

Be sure and request a room on the IOA (pool) side of the building. Our reservation was for poolview (we thought), but when we checked into the room it was on the other side of the building from the pool, overlooking a driveway. I called down to the front desk to say there must have been a mistake and was told that the room classification is "water" view - and that if I looked down as I looked out the window, I would see the water (a stream and waterfall that encircles part of the building). I certainly wasn't very happy (you actually had to place your head against the window and look straight down to see any "water"!), so I went down to the desk - they found us another room, but we had to wait another two hours to check in. Went and sat by the pool while DS explored the hotel - the wait for a room overlooking the pool was well worth it - we thought this place was quite beautiful!!!
