? For Anyone who has recently stayed Club Level at the Swan

Does anyone know if the Club Level Floors at the Swan ( 11 & 12 ) have been have been redone yet ? I know the entire hotel is supposed to finished by early 2003 but we are going on 12/7 to the Swan Club level and were hoping that perhaps these rooms have already been redecorated. We love the Swan but the rooms definately do need some revamping. Thanks for any help !!

I stayed there in Feb. of 2002. The rooms had not been redone but our room was very nice. The bed was extreamly comfortable. The bathroom clean - carpets looked ok and everything else was fine . The only thing I didn't like was the color themeing of the interior halls/room - it's very "beachy" but in my opinion (and everyone's taste are different so take it with a grain of salt) it was "tacky" and child like. I think I tend to enjoy more sophistocated surroundings. And , if I read correctly , the Swan and Dolphin makeovers will be a little more contemporary - so perhaps the new rooms will reflect that.

I have heard from others that some of the other rooms (non concierge) are really in bad repair - perhaps they have been keeping their concierge rooms a little nicer all along - even without the makeover.

Enjoyed the lounge too. Nothing too special (except Mama T who was an angel - VERY nice lady) - but a nice lounge, with pretty food offerings (it does become "routine" , however, since during our stay, the food was not "varied" over the days that we were there.).
If you have time, try out Kimonos for the Karoke - even children can get up to sing , so if you are brave, it can be a lot of fun (beware, a glass of house wine was $7.50!)

Thanks Puffy2. We LOVE Mama T. She is a big reason that we choose the Club level at the Swan. What a great way to start our " Disney " day with Mama T's warm loving hugs and smiles. She is really an asset to the Swan. Looking forward to our December visit and seeing her again. Even if Club level rooms have not been redone yet, it is a wonderful place to stay.

MamaT is the greatest.

We stayed in Room 1262 which faced Epcot/MGM & parking lot. It was very nice last 10 days in July this year. I could look out my window at ToT and the Epcot ball. (A little ways off).

There was nothing wrong with our room. I don't know that it had been recently redone at all but was in good shape. They were working on a room one morning (that was all I saw) down closer to the lounge.

My only comment on condition would have been the hallway carpet on 12th floor. Badly in need of replacement in late July (or at least an extreme cleaning), but the stuff in our rooms was just fine.

We recently spent 16 nights in late August and early September on the Club Level at the Swan. Our room on the 12th floor had not yet been redone. The housekeeping on this floor was quite good and Mama T and Denise are two of the loveliest people we have ever met. We have many fond memories from our trip and are currently planning our next vacation.
