For anyone who has purchased AP's recently...

I recently posted a thread freaking out about my recently purchased deluxe ap's for my family.

I purchased them on 5/19, the day before the increase through the DL website. I received my ticket conformation. My card was charged. Yesterday I realized that my card had been credited the full amount.

After spending hours on the phone with Disney Visa (the card I used) as well as DL. They advised me that they had a "glitch" in their system. This happened to MANY people.

I was told that a note has been placed on my account. I should go to the ticket counter in November, when I first plan to use my AP and I will be provided 4 deluxe ap's at the old rate. They have assured me that this will happen.

I'm going to do it, but to be honest I am very worried about the whole thing. I have been assured that the 379 price will be honored.
 
Couple of things... Bring your confirmation with you, of course. Also, you might want to get the name and direct contact information (or even SEVERAL names) of the people that told you they will honor the old price. The more documentation you have the better!
 
I agree. I called again today to verify that the "notes" are on my account. I talked to the same person and he actually seemed irritated that I was calling again. I have all that...
 
Glad you got it resolved, but why can't they email them to you now? I need to call them myself. I ordered 4 AP vouchers on the 19th and never received any email at all. Thankfully I printed the confirmation screen. My charge took a few days to process, but went through eventually. After seeing your post, I double checked to make sure it wasn't cedited back. We will be redeeming the vouchers at different times. It makes no sense to get "gift" vouchers and then have to go in person so the recipient can use them. Guess I had better go get on the phone.
 

The same person? What are the chances of that? If I were you, I would feel a lot better if I got something in writing, because you know the CM at the ticket booth is not going to believe you (and probably treat you like an idiot until they (hopefully) figure it out).
 
I agree, I'm sure they will give me a hard time. I think it is a very specific department that I was sent to. Like AP communications or something like that. You are forced to leave a message and wait for a return call. I'm going to try to get something in writing from them.

Holy crap, I thought it was just me as well!!!! I also renewed my premium two days before the increase and my card arrived last week but I was ALSO charged the full amount. So I naturally called Disney that day and they told me I should email the ticketing department directly and they will get back to me ASAP! They gave me the email, so, I did that and 4 days later I'm STILL wating to hear a response. So today, just today, I called Disney again and firgure I can just get resovled through a real life person and I was put through not, 1, not 2, not 3, but 4 different people!! It got frustrating because I had to explain the situation over and over again. It took about 30 mins and you know what I was told after all of that? To email the ticketing department again! :thumbsup2

Frustrating is NOT the word! But I was told this time it usually takes 5 business days for a response so I should get a response next week now! And I was told the same thing, the old rate will be upheld! So I guess I can go to the ticket booth with my confirmation letter and get it resolved, but I'm still waiting for the email of course! I dont plan to go until June 15th, so I litterally have two weeks to resolve it, but if I show up that day and told something different after booking a hotel and shifting work days for it just to not be let in or told to pay more will NOT be good!

So everyone in the same boat, let us know if you got it resolved and how! Thanks!
 
I made the mistake of entering the wrong info on my credit card buying the passes online, so Disney Visa thought it was a fraud charge. I called Disney who assured me that since i had a confirmation number everything was fine on their end. Disney Visa said otherwise. So, I went to pic up the APs on Wed. and Disney realized the charge didnt go thru. I purchased vouchers at the old price (to be on the safe side) since we are now planning a trip in Oct.
 
You guys had me worried for a minute.

LATE on the last day, purchased our 4 DAP as I could not make up my mind whether or not I really NEEDED APs for this year. ;)

Anyways, like others originally reported, the emails came LATER than I expected, I figured based on the board posts and the timing, that they were swamped.

We were lucky I guess? I just double checked, my account was charged (the right amount!) and it was not refunded back at any time. Though, I didn't use our Disney Visa (I should have!), I just used our debit card/Visa.

Anyways, just wanted to point out that our transaction apparently (knock on wood) had no issues.
