The attached involves someone that I thought (think) very highly of. The victim was good man and devoted father. He worked hard to provide a good life for his family. The other victim was in the wrong place at the wrong time and paid with his life. So many people have been affected by this tragedy. My heart aches for his children and his parents. They are wonderful people and his mother is the sweetest person you could ever meet. Please say a prayer for them. This has been a terrible ordeal for them.

I wish Massachusetts had the death penalty.

If you think that cheating won't hurt your marriage, think again.

Something similar happened here. A female worker at a government building was having an affair with two men. One of the men she worked with, the other was at another building. They each found out, the one that worked at another building came looking for the the first guy. He killed him, then shot himself. And for what, I ask you? For a woman? Crazy!

Here in my little town a 23 yr. old man lost his life when he went unarmed to another man's home to talk to his wife and mother of his children. The way the paper tells the story is man knocked on door was let in argued with his wife and her alleged lover went in another room got a gun and shot the husband 5 times. A man is dead and 3 children are without a father. The paper also states that as far as anyone knows the couple had not seperated. No the man shouldn't have went there but he shouldn't have lost his life either.

Wow, what a horrific story.

Too bad they don't have the death penalty!! UHHH...stories like this make me nauseaus. Just an innoscent guy trying to work and provide for his family...

It's very sad. There was a lot of speculation immediately after the murders and it was awful. Then the "rumors" started about an affair etc but I tried not to make any judgements until all the info became public. It just breaks my heart. How do you explain that to your kids?

I pray that the children will be ok. Mike was a good person and regardless of marital issues, cheating is not going to make a marriage better. :confused3

I'd rather see a divorce than infidelity.

So sad! Unfornutaly it happens all too often in our area. As a matter of fact we were watching an episode of Cops on Saturday night (re-run for all I know) and a man set fire to his soon to be ex-wifes and her new boyfriends place and then shot the man as he came out of the burning home. The man had SWAT on him all night. It is a very sad situation even if you don't know the parties involved and it was in my neck of the woods to boot.

Thats why I believe adultery should be illegal with serious punishment and consequenses. If you want out of the marriage and want to have an affair then GET A DIVORCE BEFORE HAND. If you loved someone enough to marry them and have children then you should at least respect them enough to end the marriage before you fool around.

It happens all over . . . here too, in the heartland.

DD had a best friend in 4th grade. Friend's mother started working at their neighbor's silk screen business, and soon they were involved in an affair. Friend's father found out about it, and went down to the shop to confront his wife and his neighbor. He ended up shooting and killing the neighbor, then turned the gun on himself and committed suicide, all in front of the unfaithful wife.

Left a widow and 4 kids without a dad.
