We are attending the MNSSHP on either 10/11 or 10/13 (assuming these are the correct dates). I'm hoping these dates don't sell out just because I like smaller crowds. But in the event they do sell out, how many tickets do they sell per night, and how does that compare with typical MK attendance numbers? Make sense?

I've been to a sold-out MNSSHP, as well as a very early in the month empty one. Many disagree on just how crowded sold-out MNSSHP feels like. I've gone at Easter as well-- to me the crowds were comparable. With one HUGE difference. The ride lines were still 10 minutes or less. It's all the special Halloween activities and rare characters you couldn't get near. As well as trying to navigate the parks was difficult w/ the crowds.

I have been wondering this exact same thing. I hope they dont sell an "ginormous" amount of them. I would hate to have the party be even more crowded than the regular day. Assuming the days posted here are correct, we'll be going to the party on October 16th or 18th.

I was at a "sold out" MVMCP in Dec and the CM we asked going in said that he thought it was about 40,000 tickets. Tommorowland at the change over was somewhat busy, we missed one show we would have liked to have seen(just have to go back this year, how tragic), and we didn't get our complementary photo because we were unwilling to stand in line. So assuming that MNSSHP is comparable, I would go on a sold out night again. We will be doing MNSSHP on 10/7 and then MVMCP on either 12/18 or 12/20 this year. Thought we were going to miss the X-mas Party based on last year's dates but not according to the ones I've seen released. :)

I was there 10/22 this past year, which was not a sell out date, but it was a Friday, and it was quite busy. I think it would be fun even at sell out rates. It's just such a unique experience. I did expect it to be less busy than it was, but it was still a lot of fun.

I think you are going at a less busy time; not a Friday and not Halloween night so I think you'll find the crowd quite manageable.

I've gone Halloween night twice and it was sold out and it seemed crowded but we were able to do everything we wanted to do. Even though there's lots of people, the rides and trick or treating lines weren't that bad.

I don't think you have anything to worry about with those 2 dates.

We went on a friday night with 16 people and we did fine, lines were 0-15 minutes... most walk ons except Fantasy Land and the Speedway. Although it was my first time in recent years going on the Speedway since the line was 20 minutes and not 2 hours...lol! I agree the streets/walkways were VERY crowded but the lines pretty good and yes the characters are hard to get too... I met a very nice CM who because the girls we took did not get a chance to see Mickey (yes we had sixteen year old girls in tears because we didn't see him) took our name and address and sent all the girls postcards with Mickey's signature and photo and some WDW candy... sorry a little OT but had to share! So hope that helped some. Even though it was a sell out we got to ride Thunder Mountain 8+ times in a row.... very cool!
