I don't have a problem if they have kids. I would like to add though that they are open and mature enough to accept and love my child(ren). Otherwise I don't have time to waste on them. :)

Remember not everyone wants a madeup family

To each there own

But honestly.. thats fine when you are in your early 20's. But you also have to understand that when you get into a certain age range.. the odds of either the man or women having a kid(s) already.. is very high.

I do not want to get into a pissing match about this. I agree everyone has different wants and needs and hopefully there are valid reasons behind that.

I admit my feathers got a little ruffled when I read some of the threads/posts today and I reacted. But reality is everyone wants different things. So I apologize if I was being snarky.

I guess my point is...similar to what Carrie said above...once you reach a certain age it may be difficult to find someone who does not have a child. I certainly don't want to be discounted because I have a child or discount someone because they have a child. I guess I feel like there should be enough love to go around and if you care about someone enough caring about their kids should come easy. BUT if someone is going to discount me because I have a child than that is probably someone I would not want to be with anyway.

Anyway to each their own :)

Very well said Amy

If they do not accept you as a whole (including child) then they are not the one for you.

To each their own completely.

But I think the reality is like I said you need to learn what things you can accept and what things you can not. To me a child is not one of those, a child is a continuation of that person. And if they love you.. they love the child or children.

Honestly I am sure you are nice women and will find your Disney prince when you least expect him and I will bet he will have a child or 2 also good luck .
