I find John McCain's association and cooperation with Bush and Cheney much more offensive, anti-American, and character impeaching than anyone Senator Obama has sat down with.

Following their lead makes McCain unfit to be President (at least), and detracts from the reputation he once enjoyed for being a patriotic American.

Bush is repsonsible for more death, more economic damage, and more threats to the American way of life than any terrorist could ever hope to be. McCain is just Bush-lite.

Someone needs to tell this guy that you can't put country first by placing the welfare of it's citizens last.

I'm voting for Obama because America will be less safe, less influential in the world, and suffer a more serious economic downturn if John McCain becomes President.

This is a good example of why the Democrats will lose this Presidential election.

President Bush is not responsible for everything that has gone wrong in the last 8 years. He wasn't a perfect President by any means, but he took the fight to our enemies and has kept this fight outside of our country. Welfare means nothing to a dead citizen after all.

To suggest President Bush has done more damage to our country than our enemies (foreign and domestic), during a time of war is needlessly hyperbolic & willfully ignores the part played by consistently obstructionist Democrats at all levels/branches in government.

John McCain is in the running to be our next President. Barack Obama is running to be our next Jimmy Carter.

Pretty simple choice if you ask me.

I handle disappointment surprisingly well.......... although that 3rd POTC movie really put it to the test.

Fear not, I am a gracious winner/loser (except sometimes when I am not).

I am looking forward to election night, in the same way I look forward to a trip to the Dentist for a root canal. I am looking forward to waking up Wed morning and my mouth won't hurt anymore......it may look hideous & have to be done again in 4 years.......but that is 4 yrs away.....

Tuesday night is going to be interesting to say the least.

So whose fault is it? I am sorry but I just can't understand how people don't see that many things that Bush has done in his 8 years caused this to happen.

He will be known as the worst President to hold office. Aside from 9/11 and how he handled everything after that. He should have been impeached years ago for what he has done to this country. We should NOT BE IN THIS WAR. This is not the right fight.

War is NEVER the answer.

One of my best friends was a drug user for a very long time. She remained my friend through it all. Was even a bridesmaids in my wedding. I have never done any type of drugs - not even taking a puff off of a cigarette. No one ever looked at me funny or wondered if I was doing drugs because she was my friend. They had no reason to believe it. She has now been rehabilitated, recently had a baby and holds a good job.

The point to my story. People may have "friends" who do bad things, but that doesn't mean their doing what their friends are doing. The company you keep is not always indicative of the type of person you are.

Many of us pray ever day that Obama does NOT win this election. Regardless, who ends up with the most electoral votes.....I still have faith in God. Christians know we are not in control. We look at things in a narrow space of time. God looks at the big picture.

I realize that. I should have been more clear. My story is the reason why I tend to disregard stories such as those in the OP. I do not judge people by the company they keep.

I believe Rashid Khalidi is the type of guy our next president needs to get close to if we are ever going to have peace in the middle east. He is a moderate and he believes suicide bombings are war crimes. He's also an expert on the region with ties to the area. Kudos to John McCain for funding Khalidi's organization in the past, SHAME on John McCain for using Khalidi to race-bait ignorant voters now.
