On the night that you are planning to go to mnsshp what do you do during the day? Do you go to mk or hit another park? I was thinking of taking it easy during the day and head over to mk in the late afternoon. Anyone else?

We arerent going to the MNSSHP, but we are going to MVMCP in Nov. We are going on a Tuesday and will take it easy during the day, swimming in the pool and relaxing and then we are going to head over to the park about 4pm. Most have posted that you can get into the parks at 4pm. :wave2:

Hello fellow Longggg Islander - !! -

As we did a few years ago when we went to MNSSHP, we will be sleeping in earlier on 10/6 at our off-site villa rental, then heading off to MK for - hopefully - the latest PS available at CP. That will still mean early dinner at MK followed by full fun nite at the party.
Did the same thing a few years ago, but ended up with late dinner at LTT - walk in - we were still exhausted by 11PM but my kids are diehards! I just find that our family cannot "burn the candle at both ends" and we are not early birds. To be at MK all day, then stay all night seems like too much for us,but, hey - if you have the stamina - GO FOR IT!!!

Enjoy!!

We are arriving that day 10/6 so we are going to hang around the resort, do the mickey boats, and have lunch at WCC. Have a small nap and then head over to MK. We did MVMCP and I think we took it easy during the day because it is a long night. Have fun, see you there!!26 days to go!! :hourglass :jumping1:

We went to MNSSHP last year and thats exactly what we did. The party goes very late for the young ones (even for Mom!!!). I dont think we got back to the hotel till close to midnight!! A nice relaxing day was just the ticket to a fun eventful evening.
By the same token you may not want to plan anything for the next morning either. Sleep in and maybe take in EPCOT or a water park in the afternoon.
Have a great time!

We plan on having an easy day the day we go to MNSSHP. Sleep in, just relax, maybe do a little shopping or something. We have 4:45 ADRs for CRT, so we plan on getting to the park around 4 or so. We also have an easy day planned for the next day as well.

We are doing the party on Oct. 20...and we plan on taking it easy as well. That is the day we check out of the Boardwalk and into the FQ, so we'll be chillin' at the pool that day awaiting our dinner at CP followed by the party. I can't wait, as this is our first MNSSHP!!!! :cool1:

When we did MVMCP we did other parks that day and only the MK at night. It helped us to see a lot more. And resting that day is a good idea too. :)

Last year we didn't take it easy. we played at the parks all day and then went to the party. We did just fine, however this year we plan to swim all day. Maybe tool around DTD. Nap DD and DH ;) while I go have a drink or three :drinking: then off to our PS at LTT for 5:15pm. We are going to two parties again this year so one night will be concentrating on all the rides and candy. The other night will be devoted to parades, fireworks, pics and whatever else we can fit in. HAVE FUN

We are going on 10/11. Our plans are to sleep in, maybe swim or shop and head to the MK around 4:30. We have PS at CP for 5:15. This is our first trip to WDW and we are sooo excited   . We are surprising our DDS11 and DD6 with the MNSSHP. So SSSHHHH!

Last year, we went to MGM for most of the day. Ate dinner off-site and went to the party shortly after 7pm.

This year, we'll likely take it easy----maybe spend 1/2 the day at Epcot, take a swim at the resort, then go early to the party.

We always use that day as a pool day. We sleep in, relax by the pool, and then have an ADR for a nice meal before the party. This year we have ADRs for LTT. If we went to a park all day we'd be wiped out for the party. We can hardly stay til 11pm anyway!

depending on our mood, we'll do one of the following:

1. rent a boat at CR or BW
2. BB
3. pool day

We're planning on hitting AK for a few hours, and then I am planning on DD 2 and DS 6 taking an afternoon nap. They won't sleep in, so I'll have to keep them busy in the morning to convince them that a nap is a good idea.

Here's hoping that my plan works. I'd love to stay late at the party.

We'll go to AK for awhile in the morning, probably until about 1:30. Then we'll go back to Pop for a little rest and to get DS's costume. We'll go over to MK around 4:30, have dinner at CP (ADR for 5:10), then MNSSHP.

Can't wait! Have fun, everybody!!

We're going and we plan to go to the park in the morning and come home and rest before going back at night. My kids are early risers no matter what so that's what will work best for us! :cool1:

We are going to MNSSHP on 10/6. Our plan is to get up late, swim, & explore POR..maybe do the catch & release fishing or take the boat to DTD.
All 5 of us are going to take an afternoon nap & then off to LTT at 5pm for dinner & the party.

The next day we planned to go to Animal Kingdom late so we could sleep in. AK is a park that we can do in 1/2 a day so that worked out perfectly.

I am getting to excited!!!!!!!!! :Pinkbounc

I am planning on us just kicking back at the resort. The boys can swim & I will do some laundry. We have ADRs for 4:30 so we will be there early. It's getting closer :Pinkbounc

Hi! We are planning on flying in the morning of our MNSSHP. Once we get in we are going to go to Earl of Sandwich for lunch and then head back to our resort to go swimming and to relax. Then we are off for ressies at LTT and then the wonderful MNSSHP! YIPPEE! 23 more days...YES! :cool1:

Am I the only one that is planning on spending the day at MK and going to the party the same night, we will only be in the World for 4night 5 days and I plan on being busy every second I am there. We will go to the resort and change into our costumes we do have a PS at CRT at 6:10. We are also 2 adults with no children, I am 24 and my husband is 26.
