We love visiting Florida and we love WDW. We are one of those couples who frequently get asked "you're going again?". Sometimes the grown children join us, often they do not. Forever looking for a way to a) make each trip a little longer and b) travel on a budget, we've tried many off-site resorts as well as enjoying our time in our DVC. Here's what we've decided...we LOVE our DVC. We LOVE our DVC resort. It is where we LOVE to spend our time, our money, it is where we are most comfortable. This past week, despite staying in the "nicest room we've ever been in" in the Orlando area, we knew it wasn't for us. As luck would have it, before we packed up the luggage and the computer to go home, I hopped on the disboards quickly and checked resales. There it was, our 2nd favorite DVC resort, in our use year, for a price we could manage. Just this morning, 5 years after our initial purchase, we added-on to our DVC. It feels soooo good because we've dated so many other resorts, we've had one night stands with local hotels, we know DVC is the one for us! For anyone who asks, we'd be happy to tell you what DVC holds that the others don't. For the rest of you, we suspect you already know! 
Our kids though still at home are getting older 17 and 14. We purchased our first contract last June. Although we thought it about since our youngest was about a year, we finally just did it. Among other factors we knew that after 14 years if we loved our Disney trips even more than we did before it was a good idea to finally do
