It is a double celebration today!!!!!!!!!!!
Today it is Valentines day and Cuthbert is surprising me with a weekend away, I do not know the destination it is going to be a surprise. Obviously it is going to be somewhere exotic and expensive and fit for a princess like myself.

It is also my birthday I have raised my glass of champagne lots of times this morning and I now have a sore wrist. For my birthday I received the following gifts from the following people:

Cuthbert : Diamond ring, necklace and a new credit card.
Dixie : A new horse called Gallop.
Amos : Riding hat and jodphurs.
Doris : a little dalmation puppy who is called Stripes.
Garry (my butler) : a fake fur coat that looks rather like Cruella Devils.
Chauffeur : a multi day pass for public transport!!!!!!!! ( me on a bus!!!!!!!!!!!!!!).
Gardener : Wellington Boots and a fishing rod.
Friend Hilary : Champagne and cheap chocolates.
Accountant : a savings bank in the shape of a pig.
Yasmin : Roller blades and a skateboard.
Mother in law : a duster, polish and marigolds!!!!!!!!!!


I expect Cuthbert will take me somewhere special for dinner.

Roni, dear, so good to see you and happy birthday!! I can call you Roni, can't I? I just feel that we've been through so much together and are just close like that!!

You know, I would expect something like that from your MIL but you might have to "speak" to the chauffeur. Possibly, you should set up a separate account for the help so that an "appropriate" portion of their pay would go into this account each pay period to be used on gifts for you and the family. That way they wouldn't make any mistakes about how much to spend on gifts for those that are so kind as to employ them.
