For AKL experts..

Hi! We're staying concierge at AKL in May. Any ideas on a good view to see a variety of animals? We have never stayed at AKL before. Thanks....

We are staying Concierge in Sept. woo hoo !!!
I haven't stayed there yet...but I asked the same question here on the boards. I requested a view of Arusha Savanna. I think that is the only one that has both zebras and giraffes.

We stayed at AKL last December and after getting advice on the Disboards, I requested Arusha Savannah view on Zebra Trail. It was perfect! We saw Giraffes, Zebra, Ankole cattle, Wildabeast and several others every day. On our first night at AKL, there was a group of 5-6 zebra sleeping together not far from our balcony. When we decide to go back, I will make the same request again!

I'm not sure this help you at all, as it's is a loooooonnnng walk, but we LOVED the room we were in, 2391. It is at the very farthest end from the pool/mara, but it was
a) right above the first feeding pod filled each morning on the Arusha savanna so we were able to see tons of animals every morning
b) right along the fence between the Arusha savanna and the next one over, so we got to see two set of animals every day (it was really cute when the Giraffes touched noses!)

The concierge rooms are on the 5th and 6th floors. 5415-17-19 are all great views non-smoking, and close to the lobby/elevators to the concierge lounge.
