Hi there, while at Disney in December my bf and I would like to go out to downtown disney/PI or the Boardwalk. We are staying at Coronado Springs. How late do the buses run back to the resorts? There must also be taxi's avail?

Any suggestions? We both want to be able to relax, ahve a drink or two and not worry about driving anywhere.

Getting from the BW after you finish the evening would require transferring through DTD--I'd just take a cab. The DTD busses run until about 2:15.

I'm not sure how late the buses run but there are always taxis available at the resorts. Personally I would take a taxi from Coronado Springs to the Boardwalk Inn (they are close), walk through the lobby of the hotel and onto the boardwalk.

The nighttime scene on the boardwalk is fun and lively but nice...lots of places to stop in and have a drink if you like. Lots of people walking around. After your evening you can walk back out to valet stand at the BW Inn and get a quick taxi back to CSR.

I don't enjoy Pleasure Island, others may disagree but it's crummy and gross IMO (more because of the people there than anything else--plenty of underage drinking). Haven't been there in years and don't plan to go back.

I have to agree, Pleasure Island is really pretty pathetic these days.

If you want spring for the cab, the hottest party place in town on weekends is downtown Orlando at Wall Street plaza.

We like the Adventurer's Club at PI. It's the only place we go to in PI. You might want to try it. It's different from the usual clubs you see there.
