Hi everyone - I'm now planning for a trip to US/IOA/SW/DC for November 2010 - I want to get a reservation for RPR but first need some questions answered as far as timing.

Background - this will be our second trip there (we went to US/IOA last June, SW in 2005 and DC on May 24th), we're going as part of my 50th birthday celebration & since we all love anything HP, my b'day is in Oct. but since my DDs have off the first week of Nov., I just thought it would be better to go then so they don't miss too much school, so here are the questions:

1. How's the weather the beginning of November?

2. Would we be able to go in the water at DC, should we decide to do it?

3. How are the crowds at Universal/IOA/SW?

4. If the crowds are light, would it be worth it going to a non-site hotel and spend the money on the VIP tours of SW and the Trainer for the Day at DC? We love the RPR but would stay there for the FOTL passes which came in VERY handy when we went in June 2008.

5. Has anyone ever used the babysitting services at RPR? I'll want to go out to eat with DH one of the nights.

Thanks for any and all advise :thumbsup2

I'll answer what I can. Others will jump in with their responses as well:

1.) The weather is generally very nice that time of year. That's what makes living in Florida so nice in the winter. It's a great time to visit.

2.) Not sure...sorry.

3.) The crowds are light especially during the week at all three parks.

4.) You might want to save some money and stay offsite..you won't need the unlimited Express access that time of year.

5.) I've never used the babysitting services.
