So with all the running around getting prepared for the trip I completely forgot we could check in early. Well just finished and we are now checked in at OKW. This family’s excitement level is ready to explode. Tee minus 4 days till we hit the road.

This our second year in a row staying at OKW. We had a blast at OKW and decided to stay again. Our home DVC resort is VWL. Real hard to break away from the lodge but OKW is very nice too. The best part we use less points there and have banked points for net year. Now we can have a longer stay next year.

We also LOVE OKW too We are staying there 5 nights this trip...along with Shades Of Green. We had to SPLIT because we were LOW ON POINTS. Our home resorts are SSR and VWL.

I see your dd also did the college program!! Our dd did the College Program Spring 2012... that year we did 5 trips!!!

No they were not all driving. LOL My husband drove her car down in early Jan. but flew back. We had a DVC trip in late Jan. already planned....but we flew. We drove in March/April during spring break...then in late May we flew down...he drove her car back but the rest of us flew home. THEN in July my son and I went in July...we flew. SO no special club status for us. We drove in Aug. last year and again this year. We also drove a few other trips but most of ours were flying.

Yes she did!!! She had a blast. Still stays in contact with a lot of the people she worked with and for. She now works in a cushy office and makes three times the money. Lol but will always love the eight months she spent working in the mk. She even got to meet a hand full of people on this thread!!! Some don't mind being mentioned and some would rather I didn't and I respect there privacy and thank all of them for stopping in to say hello from "dad's internet friends" lol
The kid cried the day I dropped her off and cried the day she came home.

We have been staying there since 1999. Mostly in one bedrooms sometimes two bedrooms. Dd loved having her own room. We just love how quiet it is there. The ease of parking. It don't have the "hotel" feel. The villas are huge.
The only other dvc resort was Saratoga and that was because we couldn't get into Okw. We had to change our vacation months so we could get to see dd while she was working.
We (dw) always wanted to try beach club so next month we are going to stay in a one bedroom at beach club for our 30th anniversary. We do spend a lot of time in Epcot so it should be more convenient.

lol its a shame they weren't there together. she liked working the Christmas parties better then the Halloween parties. I think it was the bat she had to wear on her head.
