well time is ticking on my 51st trip to wdw!!! hopefully ill be meeting up with a few of the 2000 plus mile people on this trip. i said id post a pic of me so you would have an idea what i look like so here we go. this is myself and sharon (sharadoc) from last december. hopefully i wont have all these coats on.

and if i have shorts on, there is another way of telling who i am. this is on the side of my right leg.

maybe ive told some of you my life story already. i wont go through the entire thing but i lost my mom and dad to cancer when i was 16 and 17. i lost one of my brothers to limphoma in 2000, he was 43. the four of us and my sister spent alot of time together at wdw in my younger years in the 70s and i wanted to do something to always remember the good times we all had at wdw.

We used welcome center coupons on our last trip. The first place we stopped at told us they were all out of rooms at that rate. So I said to dh, 'Ok, well, there's also coupons in this book for those hotels right over there, so let's go check them out." Boy, did a room ever open up quickly for us! So, you might just have to be a little assertive or voice that you will take your business elsewhere in order to get the coupon rate. (I really had the feeling that "We're all out of rooms at that rate" was just a line they always use, a bait and switch tactic.)

Last day of work for me. We are 95% packed. Will load up the car tonight after mom and brother get in, then we are off around 2am. Can't wait!

Dh is taking nap after work this evening and the kids are being put to bed at the regular time because they think we are leaving in morning. Can't wait!! We are taking Dh's route and not my own. He wants to go 95, 495, 90, 84, 81, 95. We are stopping in Kingsland, Ga then a quick 2.5 hr drive to Disney in the morning. Our total one way is 1521 miles!

even there pic didnt come out to good. our faces were all fuzzy. i guess we will have to go down again at the same time. she was a little down at first. she was hoping it would all be over. shes fine now. that spot could of been anything on her brain. so we just stay off the "jarring" rides this trip. when we get back, ill text you and we have to set up a date in october to meet up. briana will most likely be working. between school, homework and work, she dont have much time. she has 4 class's mon. wed and fri. and get about 2 hours of home work each class.

Then staying at a Red Roof in that has 2 doubles and a sofa in Roanoke/Troutville VA for around $110 for the night with tax(cheap compared to all the others in the area)

It'ds been a long time since we have stayed in a Red Roof and didn't realize they now have free breakfast? Do you know what they have for breakfast at Red Roof Inns?

It'ds been a long time since we have stayed in a Red Roof and didn't realize they now have free breakfast? Do you know what they have for breakfast at Red Roof Inns?

what I do is I look up the place I;m thinking of staying at on tripadvisor.com and many times the reviews on there will tell you what the free breakfast consists of If it doesn;t tell me on ta or on the hotel website then I call and ask.

We are less than an hour from Georgia. We stopped for some breakfast and we have hit quite a few construction zones. No traffic but just slower speeds through those zones.

We are almost to I-4! We made it to Ga. At 11:00pm last night, so happy to lay my pregnant body down! It took us 23 hrs and we did the 95,81,77,26 route...lots and lots of big trucks but very little congestion. All six kiddos were amazing! We stopped in kingsland, Ga at the Confort Suites which were adequate, the staff were very nice. We were able to be ready and out the door by 7:45. I'm sure we'll hit traffic on I-4 but should be in Disney by noon at latest!!!

Where were those "construction zones" delays?

You must be utilizing some other form of transportation by now: a monorail, a launch, a cruiser, a ferry...or perhaps a doom buggy!

Flying for our October vacation but am so glad that we will be driving back down in April. Seriously thought I would hate the 24 hour drive but we are actually more happy driving to the World.
