FOP wait time experience 12/29

Just wanted to post our experience from yesterday with FOP. We did not have a FP due to staying offsite.

We arrived in the parking lot at 7:15 for an 8 am opening. They had already opened the gates so we headed right to FOP. The line was extremely long already. We ended up getting off the ride at 9:30 so it took about a full 2 hours. The line did keep moving so it didn’t seem that bad. GREAT ride!

We took a break and came back at night. We got in line for FOP at 9:30. The posted wait time was 240 minutes. It took us 90 minutes to reach the ride so not too bad.

Once it got closer to 10, the line started moving fairly quickly. We loved this ride but decided we probably wouldn’t wait 2 hours again for it. Hope this helps someone!

Thanks for the report. As expected, the wait time at night was shorter than in the morning and took up less park time too.

We’re hoping to do at closing in first few days of March so we can see the queue. Only done FP so far. Heartened that if it was only 90 at closing yesterday it should be no worse at closing during a relatively slow week.

It makes a big difference when you're in a line that accounts for 100% of the attraction capacity instead of the ..... what...... 20 or 30% standby usually gets?

This is typical of all the headliners. The waits are shorter just before closing than they are just after opening.
