FOP rope drop no emh

Going to AK with family and not staying on property so only had FP option thirty days out...so needless to say FOP was long gone.Nkw contemplating whether to try and get the kids on the ride going early for rope drop.Only problem is that day we’re meeting my uncle and his family it is EMH is the morning for AK.So when we get in with regular rope drop will the line for FOP already be 2+hours?What would be a possible approach to this?

On an 8am extra magic hour opening two weeks ago I was staying on property and arrived at the gate at 7am. They let us through the tapstiles at 7:20, and on FoP at 7:30. When I got off the ride at 8:10 the line for FoP was three hours long.
I think the longest waits for this ride occur in the early morning for those who don't arrive over an hour early for park opening.

Hours for AK in March were just extended, and a whole bunch of us are waiting for new FoP Fast Passes to drop.

Oh. Looks like those hours haven't been extended, sorry.

I think your only possibilities for avoiding a horrendously long wait are:
1 - Check throughout the day for any FP availability to show up. You never know, they might.
OR
2 - Get in line just before park closing.

We were at AK today on a 7am EMH morning, the wait time for FOP was over 2 hours long before park opening at 8, almost everyone going in for EMH was heading to Pandora

You'll have to ride at park closing if you want to avoid a massive wait.

I avoid emh parks since I'm off site..so I'd either change that day to a different park, or get in line right before the park closes
